"This sucks!" Erica groaned, rubbing her reddening cheek as she sat on the bleachers in the overcrowded gym—Wally could swear he saw the print of the dodgeball on her skin. It was safe to say that neither of them held a speciality in dodgeball—seeing as both of them were sporting brusies and scrapes from the war waged from their opposing classmates. At least this helped keep up the whole double life thing. Who would've guessed superheroes were god awful at dodgeball? It was a Friday, which was blessing due to them being benched, the test they both flunked in Physics, and the fact that back at the cave, their friends were probably splashing around at the beach, lounging in the sun, having fun. "Like, really sucks."

"At least its the last class." Wally adds.

Erica shrugged, pushing herself up from her her laid back position on the bleachers with ease. "Yeah, you got a point. Jimison is gonna blow the whistle any minute. Meet in the hallway by the library?" Erica asked, pulling her gym shirt back into place. "Always." Wally confirmed, giving Erica the cue to walk in the direction of the girls locker room. As she had said, Coach Jimison blew the whistle which dismissed all the students to go and get back into their clothes. Erica got the headstart before all the other girls stampeded towards the room. Erica pulled the gym shirt off and threw it into her locker, turning to look at Astrid as she opened her own locker.

"Are you an athlete?" Astrid asks, nodding to the large bruise on Erica's arm. Erica looked down, eyeing the healing contusion. It had looked a lot worse a couple days ago—where Superboy and her had sparred while Black Canary watched. "Yeah. Lacrosse, actually. Not for school, though. Does this school have a team?" Erica lied, followed by an attempt to make conversation. Astrid thought for a moment before nodding. "We do! Tryouts are soon. I think. You should try!"

"That's a good idea. I might do that." Erica said, genuinely. It wouldn't hurt to get a little involved, even if her main priority was doing stuff for the league. Astrid grins and nods, waving to Erica as she slipped out the locker room. Holding the straps of her backpack, she started her trek down to the library hall. The occasional football player came barreling down the hall, causing Erica to press herself against the brick wall, feeling as if she was avoiding an angry Superboy.
