Jackie's POV
Today Mom is going back to work, so Karlie and I are going running and then having dance lessons.

"Wow, I am not a distance runner!" I say out of breath.

"You realize we aren't even there yet?" Karlie asks surprised at my unfit predicament.

"Ugh. I know." I whine.

"Ok sprint then." She tells me.

"Ok time me. From here to the bridge." I say now that we are at central park.

"Ok go!" She yells.

I sprint with all my speed to the bridge. I feel the wind across my face and feel exhuberated at my power. I finish strong and turn towards Karlie. She has a shocked look on her face this can't be good.

"That. Was. Amazing." Karlie mudders. "So fast." She says and I grin. "Told you. Not a distance runner." I say sticking my toungue out.

"Haha. Let's head to the studio." She says rolling her eyes.

"Can we eat first?" I ask my stomach growling.

"Sure, lunch it is." We head straight to a chipotle and have a blast laughing over who knows what.

When we get to the dance studio we warm up and do a bunch of stretches. We spend our time going over basics and positions.

"Its getting late we should head home. Your mom is making dinner." Karlie tells me after looking at her phone.

"Ok. Thank you for today." I say to her moving to hug her. She hugs me tightly.

"It was my pleasure. I am coming to LA with you this weekend, because I have a shoot on Monday. Would you like to come with me?" Karlie asks me. I completely forgot about this weekend we are leaving on Friday. The funeral is on Sunday.

"Will you be staying with us?" I ask not sure if I would like that.

"Maybe. I have an apartment out there, but I usually stay with Taylor when we are both there." She replies as we walk the four blocks home.

"Ok." I reply ending the conversation.

As we round the corner to the apartment we see a swarm of people and quickly turn around.

"Looks like we are going fire escape. Don't worry, Joe will join us." Karlie tells me somber, most likely about earlier. I sigh. I guess this is my life now. I don't know if I like it.
