Taylor's POV
After a long day and a half of me trying to drive while Jackie made jokes and goofed off, we finally made it to NYC!

As we enter the city I put on Welcome To New York and sing it with my daughter at the top of my lungs with the windows down. People around us stare, but we just enjoy our moment. Some even join us! Soon it becomes a whole traffic performance of my song.

"This is what I live for! Thank you and welcome to New York!" I shout to our assembly of traffic performers. They all cheer and soon we are on our way.

Jackie's POV
We just performed Welcome to New York with a bunch of people in traffic! Something tells me I will love New York! I took a video with a selfie stick I found in my moms purse, yeah she's weird and then posted it everywhere. People were freaking at the phenomena.

Taylor's POV
"You ready to see your new home?" I ask pulling up to my apartment.

"Maybe." Jacquelyn responds unsure.

"We don't have to go in just yet you know. We can go to dinner or go somewhere if your not ready." I tell her making sure she knows it's ok.

"No. It's just, I know that the second I enter the apartment I will be entering a new life and leaving my old one behind." She says in thought.

"I understand. That's how I felt when I moved into my Nashville apartment. I knew that once I moved out I could never truly move back and would have to continue my life without my parents on my own. I know I would see them often and it's not the same, but just know that I am here for you and even though I know I can never replace them I hope you can let me in." I respond rubbing her arm affectionately. "Thanks Mom, let's go get unpacked." Jackie replies turning into a hug. I know this isn't over, but it's a step. Her grief will only get worse before it gets better.

We enter the apartment and immediately Olivia runs up to us along with Meredith following behind.

"Hey girls!" I say picking up olivia and petting her.

"Go on and pet Meredith or she will feel left out!" I joke to Jacquelyn.

She falls to her knees and begins to cry.
