Karlie's pov
I don't know why, but I don't think Jackie likes me. Maybe we are just to much alike. I mean when I asked her if she wanted to come to my shoot in LA and she completely blew me off! I don't know what's up with her. We had so much fun today. Maybe its because her parents funeral is the day before and everything. I just thought she would like to get her mind off of it and I think she would enjoy modelling like I do.

We trudge up the fire escape with Joe, Taylor's main security guy and are soon at Taylor's living room window.

"Taylor! We're home darling!" I call out to my best friend.

"Hey guys! I was just finishing dinner come to the kitchen." She responds cheerily.

"I am going to my room." Jacquelyn groans and rolls her eyes. Taylor looks to me and I shrug mouthing to her I have no idea. She mouths, I'll be back and heads in Jacquelyn's direction. I sigh and head to the kitchen to set the table. "Three plates, three forks, three knives, three glasses, and three chairs at the table, dinner for three." I sing and smile at my little jingle.

Taylors pov
I walk up to Jacquelyns room and knock the rhythm of Sparks Fly. "Go away!" She cries, her voice hoarse. I immediately let myself in and gather her in my arms. I whisper into her ear, "Don't cry baby. What's got you down?" She whimpers into my chest.

"I wish it could just be you and me this weekend..." She whispers. I sot her down on the bed and seperate her from my chest to look her in the eyes. "Did Karlie do something?" I ask gently.

"No, its just, I don't know, I-I know that you and her love each other and I don't want to feel left out. I really love Karlie and I think she's perfect, but I don't want to lose another person I love, you." I listen intently to my daughter's words holding back tears of my own.

"I will never leave you." I tell her strongly reassuring her with my ocean blue eyes staring into her warm brown ones.

We hear a faint knock on the door and Karlie peaks her head in. "May I join?" She asks sheepishly. "Of course!" Jacquelyn exclaims reaching out for the model. We hug for awhile and then Karlie let's go. "I am sorry if I did anything wrong Jackie. I understand if you don't want me around." Karlie says looking down. Jacquelyn responds with a bone crushing hug. "No, I'm sorry." She says smiling. I giggle, "You both are too cute! But now we should go eat! I'm sure the food is getting cold or the cats have already gotten to it!" I say laughing at the thought. "Don't worry, they are all being slowly warmed. I made sure of it." Karlie reassures me. "Ok, thanks. Let's go eat!"

We sit at the round table and enjoy our meal of shrimp scampi and baked potatos along with a vegan pasta dish for Karls. "Do you guys want to hear this song I made up?" Karlie asks us. We both nod. "Ok. It goes like this, three forks, three knives, three glasses, and three chairs at the table, dinner for three." She sings and we both giggle and clap. "That was album worthy!" I giggle. "Ok, watch your tone, you are starting to sound sarcastic." Karlie jokes rolling her eyes. We both laugh.

This feels like family to me, I love it.
