Chapter 11: Valentines Day Special

It was the day before Valentine's Day and all the tribes were getting ready for their gifts for mates and friends. And who knows? Maybe some gifts are a little bit private for others. Anyways, KayKay was just talking to Riff about his gift to Barb. "Riff, buddy, calm down. I'm sure she's gonna like it." She said, "But what if she doesn't like it? What if she rejects me? What if she-" KayKay then slaps some sense out of Riff.

"Riff, I'm sorry that I had to do that but you're overreacting a bit. I have faith in you that she's gonna love it for Valentine's Day." She said, "*sighs* Alright but aren't you and her kinda in some sort of battle when you roasted her?" Riff asked. "Yeah, but she's just doing that because I re-prank her prank and call her by her full name." She smirked. "I HEARD THAT!" The two look around to see where that voice is and recognize it as Barb.

"Queen Barb, are you in the bushes?" Riff questioned then she rolls out with a few twigs and leaves in her hair. "I'm everywhere. Get used to it." She said. "But what I said before is that I'm gonna get you back for that." "Mhm, and how many times have you tried? Oh, let me guess, ya didn't." KayKay said as she smirked. "THAT'S IT!" Barb tackles KayKay to the ground and roughing up with each other while Riff just stands there in surprise.

They continue until KayKay is able to pin her down to the ground. Barb struggled to get but she held onto her tight. "You were saying?" She said. "Get off me!" Barb shouted as KayKay moved and she stood up. "Oh, you're dead now! Just wait until it's Valentine's Day!" Barb shouted before she storms off, leaving the two to look at each other in confusion. "Um, what does she mean when she's gonna get you back on Valentines Day?" Barb asked.

"Oh, she's just saying that to scare me...but I should probably spy on her, just in case. See you later, Riff." KayKay said as she waved at him and he waved back before floating off to somewhere.

Meanwhile, Barb found Trollex with Poppy in her pod, making a Valentine's Day gift for KayKay. "Trollex, I need your help." Barb said. "Let me guess, you and KayKay were roughing each other up and she won over it?" He questioned, Barb looked a little surprised. "How did you know?" She asked. "Because we just heard your yelling from outside." Poppy said. "Oh, well, still I need your help." She said. "With what? Switch her soap with shampoo so, it can stings her eyes?" He said.

"No but that's going on my bucket list. I meant that Valentine's Day is tomorrow, right?" Barb questioned. "Yeah, but you're suggesting I fake breaking her heart, there's no way that I'm doing it. She's sensitive." Trollex said. "What? No, I mean, that she gets flustered easy when you flirt with her, right?" She said. "Hmm, what are you implying?" He questioned. "Okay, I want you to..." Barb whispers the plan in his ears, he thought about it for a while then he agrees.

When tomorrow came

It was Valentine's Day and every couple, friends and crushes were hanging out and giving each other love and gifts of faith their endearment. "Ah, Happy Valentines Day, Branchie!" Poppy exclaimed as she gave him a tight squeeze and planted kisses all over his face as his face turned dark blue a bit. "Okay, that's enough, you two. Get a room!" Barb rolled her eyes. "Don't worry, Pops. She's just that because she's afraid that she Riff might not to give her a gift for this day." Branch chuckled.

"WHAT?! But- But that- that's not true!" Barb stuttered. "Then how come Riff is right behind with your gift?" Poppy questioned. When Barb turns around, she sees Riff with a gold statue of herself with a guitar and the title label "The Best Rock Queen Ever!". "I guess you don't want this." He said a bit sadly but before he could walk away, she grabs by the hand and hugs him tight. "Uh, Queen Barb? Are you okay?-" "Thank you." She said as she continued hugging. "This is the first time I've ever seen Barb hug someone." Branch whispered.
