"Corey has a point." I say, climbing under the covers of Colby's bed.

We called Corey and told him about Witches Forest tomorrow and he declined.

"About what?" He asks, slipping in beside me.

"About this, like the Witched Forest. Maybe it's not such a good idea. This is an actual forest out where people can go. It's not like a hotel room where you have to have a key to go in, it's open to anyone. There would be a murderer in there with us and we don't know it."

"You're right." He sighs. "Are you still going tomorrow?"

"Yeah, I guess. I've just been thinking about it more and more recently and he just brought some more points into it."  I shrug, turning on my side to face him. "But do we really want this in our lives? Jake got possessed or something at the Biltmore hotel, there was a haunted cowboy in our room, and now this? It's just an eye opener at how dangerous this stuff can be."

"So are you done with this stuff?" He turns on his side to face me as well.

"I don't know. I don't want to make a decision just yet. After this, I want to think about it a bit more." I admit. "I love the adventures with you guys, but we risk our safety - wether it be a spirit or a physical person."

"I get it. I think we should take a break from ghost hunting stuff for a while. We can maybe explore abandoned places again or something like that."

"That might be good for you, honestly." I say and he nods. I let out a yawn, and he follows suit. "For now, let's just go to bed, yeah?"

He nods and I peck his lips, turning to my other side. He pulls me close to him and sets his head above mine on the pillow, and places his hand over mine. A smile forms on my face and my stomach flutters just like the first time we kissed.

"Colby, wake up!" someone yells, a door shutting.

I groan, rubbing my eyes just as the bedroom door opens. "Oh shit, sorry, guys." Sam apologizes.

"You're good." I wave him off as I yawn. "Colby," I nudge his arm, but he doesn't budge. "Colby," I say a bit louder, shaking his arm that's over my waist.

"Have fun waking him up," Sam laughs, shutting the door.

"Babe," I try again and run my fingers through his hair. He grunts softly and leans his head into my hand. "Cole." he hums and his eyes open. "Come on, baby, get up. We have to get ready."

I sit up and pull him with me. He rubs his eyes with a yawn and I stand up, stretching.

"I'm gonna leave and get ready, okay? I'll be back when I'm done." I lean on the bed and kiss his cheek.

"Okay." He mumbles, his voice sleepy. I grab all of my stuff before heading back to my apartment.

I shower quickly and tie my hair up in two dutch braids. I change into a pair of black sweats and a white slightly cropped tank top paired with a flannel that's black plaid on one side and white plaid on the other. I slip on my white converse and throw a blanket in a book bag.

I add two pillows, knowing that someone is going to forget theirs, and toss it over my shoulder.

Locking my door, I walk the few hallways down to Colby's apartment. I walk in, not bothering with knocking.
