Herobrine POV:
I open my eyes and glance to the door as I hear the two pass by on the other side, they still seem to be dragging the scout along with them, I know this as I can hear the scraping against the stone across the ground as they drag him and the occasional struggle of him moving his feet, that kick against the stone as he tries to free himself. I hear him grunt then shout angrily at the two not that far away, he calls out his name, and a pair of footsteps walking away. They seem to have left him alone in the cavern with me, what a pleasant offering they've left behind for me to collect. I fly out of the room, phasing through the sealed door, slipping under the threshold as a silent swirl of black smoke, and continuing on down the caverns until I spot the scout, the same one that was attacking the dragon keeper earlier. I whisper his name lightly to his mind through magical means of telepathy and he panics already, he escapes the last of his bindings and dashes off with his arms feeling around out in front of him. I begin the chase, though I stay at a steady pace and let him dash off knowing I could easily catch up to anyone, he doesn't run off that fast either as the mortal humans are quite blind in the dark, probably why he's having such a hard time. I on the other hand have exceptionally good eyesight in the dark, and I eventually come up behind him and try to graze his neck lightly with my fingertips only to realize reaching out to the living in my current spiritual-like state would be quite tricky. Instead, I step back and tug him back lightly with some magic, like an invisible string or hand around the back of his neck for a moment. He gasps and falls over but frantically gets back up and reaches for one of his missing weapons, only to realize just now that they're missing, taken by the dragon keeper, and he panics more as he glances around nervously and continues to walk aimlessly in a direction ending up face to face with a wall. He seems to be turned around, and not being able to see in his case doesn't help at all though it is quite amusing at this point. He feels around the wall, and crouches down behind one of the stalagmites, still glancing around nervously as he tries to find the hidden being lingering around in the dark that he is blind to see. I lean against a wall nearby to watch, and inevitably due to the glow of my eyes, he eventually spots me and our eyes meet, his mind opening to me. I gaze past the surface to what is hidden deep in his mind, he is uncertain, a bit scared which is to be expected, but there is also anger and determination directed towards none other than the dragon keeper and the hybrid. Through this, I spot he has a desire, one he wants to complete, but is not yet finished. I close my eyes and rub my chin in thought as I take a few steps back, a slight smile slowly forming at the edges of my lips as I come up with an idea where he may have a new opportunity, a second chance to complete what he is so determined to do in perhaps another way, but he will never be able to return back to the empire. I hear him now, speak lightly and stutter under his breath, a small greeting but I wait, I stay silent, he cannot resist his curiosity coming up and comes to see what the light was. I can feel he is creeping closer now, I take a few more steps back letting him wander close, a few times I avoid his reaching touch he comes so close, I don't have to look to know he's there and when I am just a few feet away from where he is searching I open my eyes again, look over at him, and I whisper his name again lightly such as before. He quickly looks up and sees me there, panic and terror seize his mind, he loses the anger he had once more, and I don't hesitate to take this chance. I rush towards him quickly, my form altering back to the swirling mass of black smoke, leaving some magic of corruption behind as I fly right through him in this spiritual form and continue down the tunnels back to the room with my diamond. He may either perish or his form will be altered so that he may have this second chance he so badly desires, that he will have a chance to finish this goal of his that is not yet complete in a way but never again be able to return to the empire, and never be able to rest until his goal, this unfinished task of his, is complete to his mind or he dies trying to complete it.
