Near Rick's office:
Rick steps out of Laura's car. Turning back he leans on the car's window. "Hey I think you should come over to party... it's my sister's birthday."
"I don't like talking to people much so I better stay clear-"
"She doesn't live here so it'll be just family and a few friends of hers."
She just stares in front of the car through the windshield with a blank expression.
"She's so cute and her paintings are heavenly...you'll surely like her."
"She's a painter?"
Rick nods, smiling. "I'll give it a thought," she says, turning the keys.
Rick steps back and raises his hands to wave a bye. "I'll text you the venue." Nodding she speeds away her car.
Rick turns towards his office and dials Jasmine. "How is it going?"
"Arrangements are done but Ella looked really pissed off at you."
"Hahaha...she'll get her smiles back when sees the surprise." Rick enjoys the laughter in teasing her sister knowing it's rare to be other way round.
"Thanks for your efforts, Jasmine."
"What do I get for these efforts?" she asks in a teasing tone.
"I have a surprise for you too."
"What is it? tell me," she says excitedly.
Rick bursts into laughter. "Didn't I say surprise?"

At Amy's Cabin:
Amy looks unusually happy, reminiscing her memory from the last day with Rick.
In memory, Rick points at remains of food around her lips, "You have some on you."
She shrugs her shoulders as her both hands are occupied holding packets in hand.
"Let me help you." He takes a napkin to her lip's corner. His thumb lands on her lips.
His touch sends warm waves from her lips to the heart. She looks into his eyes that hold her gaze. It stays only for a moment as Rick finishes wiping her lips and steps back. But it feels like an eternity for her. A moment she'll never forget.
A knock on the door jolts her out of memory. She continues to blush as she sees her hero at the door. Taking a moment to cool down her warmed cheeks she finally speaks. "Come in, Rick."
"You look so happy, Amy...I guess the meeting went well."
"It certainly did," she lowers her head to the sides.
"What about the presentation I made?"
"You did great, Rick. I loved it." Her words were certainly for the work but also for something else too.
Wooh. That much praise!!. A while ago you & your brother used to only give subdued compliments. Sibling has certainly changed now, especially you, Amy. Thinking he smiles. "Thanks."
"Hey, it's my sister's birthday tonight. I'd certainly like your presence."
"I'll surely come," she says, thinking it to be a nice chance to get closer to him & family.
"Bring in Jared too," he requests. She nods, smiling. Waving a bye, Rick steps out of her cabin and heads straight towards his buddy.
