CHAPTER NINETEEN - IT'S RUINED

DENVER P.O.V

I am now sitting in the staircase. With my hands on my face.

Im so exhausted.

Marie rejected me so many times.

1st the ride that i am offering into the school this morning. REJECTED.

2nd. The flowers. REJECTED.

3rd ."Chocolates for you",I said.

"No thanks. It has calories.",she answered.

What the hell !! She said NO to the chocolate ?!

4th. "Lets have lunch together.",i said.

"Im full.",she answered.

5th. I put a loveletter on her locker. Then i saw how she throw it in the trashcan.

And many more !! She rejected me so many times in this day. T_T

While thinking those things that made me exhausted, my phone rings.

Its Xander.

I smiled widely.

"Bro me and Xandra will go ahead in that university.",he said.

"Thanks I need your help !",i said excitedly.

"Go in here asap.",i commanded.

"So what ?", Xander said.

"Please help me !",I pleaded.

"What will I could get when i helped you?",Xandra said as she raised her brows.

"Sachary.",I said. She smiled widely.

"Im on.",she said.

"How about me ?",Xander asked.

"I will give you three wishes after this ! Anything is fine !",I yell.

"Ooh really ?",xander said as he grin.

Ooh oooh. I think its a wrong choice. But for Marie I will do ANYTHING.

Levi Marie's POV

"Ate Levi !",Xandra said in a teary eyed as she hug me so tight.

"W-why?",I asked. I feel some of goosebumps.

"H..help ! Si.. si kuya Denver kasi eeh !",paputol-putol na sabi nya.

"Ohh? What happen to him?",I asked calmly.

"He's on our hospital right now. It's now or never. Sabi ng doctor may taning na daw ang buhay nya. Kuya Xander is with him right now. Ku..kuya...kuya is in pain.",Xandra narrated.

What ? Si Denver ? Mamamatay na ? How ? Kanina lang magkausap pa kami ah ?

And then suddenly the memories flashbacks on my mind. The memories when we were young, running , playing hide and seek. The promises. The laughers. The pain when we're already in highschool. The kisses and hugs ,the jokes,the foodtrips.

I hold my cheeks and i felt a warm liquid.

I cant believe it. He's dying.

"Please Xandra. Sent me in that hospital.",i whispered.

She grabbed my hands and we went in a car. The driver drives it into the hospital. Inside the car, i am still wondering. And asking why is this happening.

Room 498

When I entered in that room all I can see is white.

I rotate my eyes and look around in the room. There I saw Denver James sleeping.

And the lonely Xander beside him.

When Xander recognize my presence he smiled at me weakly and stand and walk into the door.

I walk softly to the bed where is he lying.

He's wearing a hospital lab gown, with a dextrose in his arm.

He sleeps calmly.

Then I saw the fake wedding ring in his finger that we've get in the marriage booth.

I held his hands.

Is this one of the last time of chance to hold your warm and soft hands?

My tears are starting to flow again.

Then I felt his hands move.

And suddenly, he opens his eyes.

"Why are you here? Why are you crying?",he said as he dry my cheeks by the used of his fingers.

"A...are you really dying ?",I asked.

No reply. He just stare at the window and smile weakly.

I cant help it but cry.

"Hey. Stop.",he said in a soft voice.

"I will be fine.",he said.

Then I hugged him. I dont know why,but I cant stopped myself from doing that.

How I missed his scent,his hugged,his smile, his touch. I wish I could feel it forever. But now....Its limited.

So i started crying again.

"Stop crying Marie. It makes my conscience alive.",he joked.

I punch his chest a little.

"You are the one who should stop. I hate you ! You are leaving me behind again.",I uttered.

"Im sorry. I have a favor to asked...before..you know...i .. i die ?",he said in a low voice.

"Whats that?",I asked.

"Can you forgive me ? Can you stop yourself in hating me ? Please ?",he pleaded.

Then I nod. I hugged him again.

Then Xander and Xandra entered in the room with a round of applaused and a teary eyed !

"Congratulations bro ! She already forgive you !",Xander yelled.

"What a scene ! It touches my heart ! It really looks true !",Xandra said.

What's happening?

"He..hey ! Stop !",Denver said.

"Why ? The play is already over bro !",Xander said.

"What ?! Play ? Denver James Perez ! What's the meaning of this ?????!",i screamed.

"Oooh ooooh",the three of them said in chorus.

"Le..let me explain !",Denver seems in panic.

*pak*

I slapped his face.

Then I walk out in the room.

I smiled.

Thanks God it's not true,its not true that you are already getting Denver from me.

"Its your fault Xander !",Denver shouted.

"I cant help it ! The scene is very dramatic !",Xander explained.

"Blablabla the plan is already ruined.",Xandra said in an annoying voice.

"Just give me the number and pictures of my beloved Sachary !",Xandra screamed.

"No way ! Cause the two of you already ruined the plan !",Denver said.

"What ?!",Xandra and Xander shouted.
