It had been seven years. I had incredible back pains and my feet would swell. Everything hurt. I changed into Xaviers big t shirts and placed on fuzzy socks. When I walk out of my room, I admired our house.

It was nice to finally have a house together. We didn't have to sneak around or go back forth.
I sat back on a lounge chair in my work room and started sketching on my iPad. I used my protruding belly as a stand. My six year old son rushed into the room, kicking around a soccer ball. I sat up and watched as he almost knocked down my mannequins. I go into instant mommy mood.
"Leon!" I shout as the little boy stops in his place.
After plenty of tries to have a baby, we struggled to get one. So we both decided adoption was best. When we found him we were both happy as can be. He has dark brown skin like me with curly dark brown hair. Slight Blonde highlights peeled out of his curly locs.
"What did mommy say about running in her working space?" I asked, wavering my finger. Leon looked up at me, fidgeting with his soccer shirt.
"I'm sorry, Mama. Dad took me to practice."
"How was it?" I asked.
"It was fun. I made six goals." I cheered and high five him.
"That's my boy," I beamed. I pulled him in and rubbed his head. I get a whiff him and realize how sweat he is.
"Ok, sweetie. Go get cleaned up and I'll figure out about dinner." Leon nodded before rushing out.
"I love you," I yell but he's too quick to even hear. I smiled then sat back down, working. I hear footsteps walking towards the room. I could recognize my own husbands foot steps from a mile away. He's been so on my ass about working because I was seven months pregnant. We've tried so hard to get pregnant and now that this baby girl — yes we're having a baby girl. Now that our miracle baby girl is here, he's so protective. Though I should be listening, I've have been working besides his regulation.
"Hazel, if I come into this room and I see you working....." He shouts. I try to go hide my tablet but ended up dropping it. I gasped loudly and Xavier rushed into the room.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Is the baby here?" He adds. I rolled my eyes and check my tablet. I cheer when I realize it's totally fine.
