Surprise...

Ahhh! I had such a good sleep. I actually had a dream for once. That's unusual. I dreamt about a camel with a donkey out in the desert. Don't ask me how the donkey survived but the camel and the donkey were best friends but the donkey was dying in the heat and lack of grass in the desert so the donkey jumped onto the camels bag whilst it sped up to 100mph and got the donkey back to a nice grassy field. What weird dreams I have honestly! Maybe that's something else I could do... help a donkey out of a desert, just a thought!!
As I said, I need to get some materials for the necklace today so I'll have to pop to Home Depot or maybe Michaels I'm not sure yet. I'm planning on doing that around 12 but first before doing anything I need to make my bed. My bed's a nice grey bed, with mint, violet and a dark shade of purple duvet covers. I have this cool thing called an electric blanket. I love it so much because it keeps me so warm and cozy in the freezing winter nights. I make my bed and then go to my bathroom to brush my teeth with my new toothbrush I bought a couple of days ago, it's electric and purple which is really good because my last one was a manual one so this cleans my teeth 90% better. My outfit for today consists of a white shirt with a green jumper with the collar of the shirt coming out of the jumper. I have on blue jeans with black boots. I have short greyish hair. My body and mind might not be getting old but my hair definitely is! I don't really fancy making eggs or having some cereal today so I think I will get a bacon roll or something when I am out. I may as well just go now, let's face it, I don't have anything else to do in the meantime so off we go. You won't know this but I actually have a little blue two-seater car. I jump in and drive to Home Depot whilst putting on classical music on the radio. That's my favourite radio station by the way. I arrive about 10 minutes later and park near the back of the car park. I always do that, out of habit. Right so I need a yellow chain, and a heart charm. I'm on my way to go find them. Ooo! There's some nice beads, I'll take them so I can use them in the future as they are actually very nice. There we go! There's the coloured chains, and omg right next to them there's charms. What a coincidence am I right? I'll take that and I'll take that. Sorted! Didn't even need to go to michaels. Let's go checkout then.

Perfect! I am back in my car after getting what I need, that didn't take long at all. It did take my money though... it's ok it was needed.
There is a really nice bakery along the road so I think I should do myself a favour and get a lovely bacon roll, my favourite. I'm driving peacefully for about 2 minutes until I'm there. "Hey Mari-Anne!" That was Paul. He works here and is very nice. "Hey! One bacon roll please." "Yes of course!" He grabs me a bacon roll from the tray below and gives it to me so I give him my money and leave.  I'm going to take it home and eat it then. I drive home and get in the door and pick up the post taking it and my roll to the table. I take one big juicy bite of my roll and begin opening the mail. First letter was just bills, boring! Second was about my pensions. I took one look at the last one and I'm very confused. It is addressed to me, with one stamp on the top right corner. I tear it open, it reads:
Dear Mari-Anne,
I'm not sure I've got the right address , or even if this is true or not. Let me explain. One day I was on a website, online. I was looking at ancestry and researching family trees and stuff.
My parents both died in the war. I got seperated from them at the age of 3. When I was 9 the war ended and I got told both my mum and my dad died. I went to an adoption center and got adopted by a lovely family. This might shock you but ...I believe we are twins. Please get back to me when you get this, I apologise if I have the wrong person.

....I don't know what to think, how did I not know this? Is she lying? Is this true? How is it even possible to find out you have a twin when you're 83? What is a prank? Or even crazier what if this is all real... I mean it could be, we were only three when the war started so we could've easily gotten separated and we just can't remember each other. If this is real I have to write back, or even go phone her. I can't process this. What if Joanne is actually my twin? I have to call her number. Wait what would I even say? How awkward will this be? I'm so confused. I guess I should try to call it, it's the easiest way to find out if this is real or not. Although I'm really nervous I have to do it, if I do have a twin what would be really cool. I'm trying to call it now...ring ring ring ring
"Hello, is this Joanne?"
"Hiya, yes it is!"
"I am Mari-Anne. I just received your letter, you know about us being twins.."
"Ohhh! That's good you do that. I don't know how you feel about this but I think we are identical twins."
"That's so exciting! Sorry, how exactly did you find out?"
"Well I was on the internet and I saw an advert to find out your ancestry stuff, so I decided why not you know? I don't know much about my family so let's give this a go. I waited a few days for my results and once they came I couldn't believe my eyes! It said I had a twin and her name was Mari-Anne Moonlindle. Obviously I had to research you and after I found some of your awesome adventures you've been on, eventually I found your address. So I sent you some mail."
"That is so cool! So we are twins!!"
"Yep"
"So what do you do in your life? Do you have a husband or kids or a job?"
"Well I have a husband, his name is Derek, I don't have any kids or a job, I've retired from being a lawyer tho."
"Aww cool!!"
"What about you?
"Well obviously you saw some of the amazing adventures I've been on, I really like travelling and trying out new things, I have 3 kids, Robert, Augustine and Blythe."
" Woah!! That is so cool! I'm an Auntie!"
"Nope, think again. Robert and his wife have two kids, Ava and Jack And  Augustine also has two kids, Lauren and Lucas. Ava is pregnant so Soon to be a great great auntie ..."
"What!! I feel so old"
"Don't worry, I felt that my whole life."'

Mari-Anne and Joanne spoke for another couple of hours and soon knew everything about each other.

"It's been so nice speaking to you Joanne, but I'm going to have to go. I have a family dinner tonight but I'll make sure to tell everyone about you!"
"Okay, Have a nice time! Do you have a mobile phone?"
"No, but my kids and their kids do, shall I give them your number?"
"Yes! That would be lovely, maybe we can even video call later, if you're up to it."
"That would be lovely, I will let you know later and we can try to video call and you can meet the whole family"
"Ok! Have a nice time, see you later. Bye"
"Bye"
Wow. I'm so stunned.
I can not believe I have a twin sister, besides that it went so well. We were speaking for ages! I feel like I've known her forever. She is so kind and seems so interested in my life, just like I am with hers. I can't wait to tell my family tonight! They won't believe it. I don't actually know what she looks like but we are identical so I imagine not that different from me, although she will be video calling tonight. This all happened so fast, it's weird in a good way. It's almost time for me to leave so I best brush my hair and change my clothes so I look a bit better, then get going. Hopefully we can manage to video call her and hope that everyone will take it well. I will update you guys later on tonight.
