Hello! I'm not long back from the dinner. I can't even tell you how well it went. Firstly we all sat down at the table. It was at Augustine and Jeromy's house. The whole family was there, including the kids. Altogether there were 11 of us, counting me. Jeromy was serving the food, which was roast chicken, by the way. I waited until everyone was sitting down until I broke the news. I have a twin sister!! I bursted out. Everyone was shocked. At first almost everyone tried to laugh it off, thinking I was joking but I assured them I was being serious and then they finally realised. I explained everything from getting the letter to us being on the phone for hours. I told them how we got separated and how she found out. Everyone's reactions were all much the same, shocked and excited. I told them her name was Joanne and she wanted to video call all of us tonight. Everyone happily agreed, so we waited until everyone had finished eating and we cleaned up everything and then we finally called her. We were using Ava's phone. It only rang a couple of times before she picked up. Woah. She looked just like me. Same hair and everything, looks like we had the same style too. It was so perfect. Everyone got along with Joanne and Joanne liked everybody. It was like she was here with us. If only she was. Hopefully I can go over to her or she can come over and meet the family soon enough. Of course her husband has to come too. Everyone wants to meet her so badly.
It's kind of late now though so I'm going to go get my cup of tea and head
Up stairs to bed. Night! X (Joanne uses 'x' so I am too)*beep beep beep beep* Huuuuuuuuuh I yawn. I'm so tired! I have to get up though because you know, I have to work on the necklace and get on with other stuff today.
I step out of bed onto the cold floor and hop to the bathroom to get changed. I get into my favourite top, since today seems like a good day and slip on some random jeans. I jump downstairs all cheery, and go to get my breakfast. Hmm I might have some weetabix, or some lucky charms ...or honey nuts? I think I'm gonna have some honey nut Cheerios. I pour a serving into my breakfast bowl, get out the blue milk, and pour it all over the cereal. I also turn on the kettle and put some coffee powder in my mug. I take my cereal and coffee over to the table and turn on the tv, mmm yum I love honey nut cereal. It's so sticky yet crunchy. And filling too! I watch tv for a bit and then realise I've been watching it for quite a while and should probably go wash my dishes and get started on the necklace, so I do.Plonk! That was my sitting down on my seat in the workplace/ garage. I obviously bought some supplies yesterday, but never started anything so let's see what I have. I have coloured chains and charms, and as I said the chain of this particular necklace is yellow so I pull out one long yellow chain and start perfecting it. I take a while making it the way I want it and then take out a love heart charm. It needs to say relax in the middle of it which means I need to engrave it on. I go over to the special engraving machine and turn it on. Basically I need to put the little heart into the machine and relax and the font and size and place all in the control screen and start it. It only takes about 2minutes to engrave, obviously the time varies depending on the size of the writing. I'm sitting waiting for it to finish whilst sorting out all my orders. I don't have that many at the minute so I can relax. Once it's finished I take the charm out of the machine and look at the engraving. It's really good and neat and perfectly where I wanted it. Now all that's left to do is attach the charm to the chain and write the little card and then package! That won't take long.
I've completely finished Kelley's order which means I can officially post it in the mail! There's a post office right next to mine so I'm going to go do it now, may as well you know. I get to the post office and go up to the till. "Hello, could you please mail this for me?" The lady says "of course" and takes the box away to a room at the back. I assume this is my time to leave so I walk out. I slowly walk home, relaxing. I'm not sure what my plans are for tonight. I think I'll try to call Joanne, see if she's awake with the different time zones. She told me Scotland's very cold and rainy and they hardly get two weeks of summer, that's if they get any summer. Total opposite in Colorado. I think it'd be nice for a little change. Maybe we can go visit her instead. It might make more sense for her and Derek to just come over here since you know, there's only two but I would really enjoy a nice wee trip to Scotland. I heard they have very nice views. Anyways that's me at my front door so guess I should maybe get inside and start thinking about dinner.
