Prologue

"I've loved her ever since I laid my eyes on her, but I was scared to lose everything I've worked so hard on..."
He drove. He drove so fast he didn't know where he was going. He quickly changed lanes as his friend's words replayed in his head.
He also thought of her smiling while looking at his friend's face. He knows how much she loves him, and it hurts. It hurts to know that the girl he loved so much is in love with his bestest friend.
"Then why did you make her suffer like this?! Why did you make her feel as if she's meaningless? You ignored her every single day and you disregarded her presence. Now you're telling me you loved her for so long? That's bullshit!"
"Because I was a coward. I was selfish and I focused on myself...I focused on my dream. And focusing on my dream means disregarding her and my feelings for her."
A tear fell down from his eyes and he wiped it as fast as he can. His phone started to ring but he ignored it. THAT'S BULLSHIT! He shouted in his head, damn, how he hated the sight of her hurting because of the man that she loved. He hated to see her cry. If only he could take all the pain she's feeling.
"Why are you telling me this?"
"Because I know how you feel about her. I'm telling you this because I'm going to show her everything from now on."
He changed lanes again. This time, he's driving faster.
"Hyung, why? Why are you only doing this now?"
"I'm... I'm not scared anymore. I'm ready to face everything and anything for her. I'm sorry it'll hurt you, but i think it's finally time for me to tell her how I really feel. Mianhe."
He screamed so hard he thought his vocal cords were gonna break. He started crying. It blurred his vision, but he didn't care. He stepped on the gas harder. His phone rang, this time he reached for it.
Unfortunately his phone fell. He wasn't thinking clearly so he reached for it, making him step on the gas even more. She was calling.
The girl of his dreams is calling, he thought. He saw their picture on his screen. It was taken during their picnic at Seoul Grand Park. Her smiling face is what he loved the most. He stared at his phone a little longer, and then he answered it.
"Where are you?" She asked in a panic-stricken voice.
"I think it's finally time for me to tell her how I really feel. Mianhe."
He once again heard his hyung, his "bestest" friend speak those words that he knows would end everything he and the girl of his dreams had.
"I.. I'm-"
Everything was a blur. Suddenly a truck started to head in his way. He avoided it, but he was going too fast that he lost the car's balance. It all happened in a blink, and he had no idea what exactly was happening.
He heard tires screeching, glass shattering into pieces and he was tumbling with his car, everything was scurrying and finally he found himself upside down.
He felt a pang on his head. When he opened his eyes, there was blood everywhere.
Damn, this is why I should never use our manager's car. He thought. How could he think in this situation? He laughed slightly in his head. I'm going crazy.
Suddenly a picture of her again appeared in his mind. He saw her there with the guy who can certainly fill that space in her heart. The guys who's definitely not him. They were laughing and sharing smiles. They were holding hands, and he knows they're happy.
He felt a tear roll down his cheek, and he didn't mind the pain he's feeling in his head. His heart is hurting more.
There were sirens and footsteps rushing over. He didn't care. His heart hurts more than anything right now. I'm gonna lose her. I have no chance anymore.
He closed his eyes and let darkness engulf him. Everything in him hurt. He wanted to cry but he couldn't, the pain was too much. He didn't make any attempt to move. In seconds, he fell unconscious.
The rescue team did their best to take him out of his seat with all carefulness. They placed him on a stretcher and drove him to the hospital.
