Chapter 11: What did I do?

Im Rae Ya's POV
It has been a week since the team's retreat. After flyfishing, we rode a banana boat. We grilled pork belly as our lunch that day and went home afterwards. My favorite part was during the ride home. We played different games and we couldn't stop laughing until we cried. It was fun, and it was definitely a trip to remember. The boys were super tired but they came home with big smiles on their faces.
After the 'I think you're sexy' incident with Hanbin, I think we got closer. We joke and laugh a lot together since then. I've become comfortable around him, and it's easy to not blush a lot. Although after the excursion, things went back to normal - tutoring and training for them - while I stay at home since I'm still not sure if I should attend Uni. I'm still trying to figure out what I want in the future.
Oh! And iKON has a new member. His name is Hongseok and he's the same age as Jinhwan. I'm sure Hongseok and the others are having a hard time getting comortable with each other, since the 8 have already bonded.
Although my uncle and I are close, I have no idea what runs in his mind. I don't know his plans for his tainees. I don't ask though, since it's none of my business. I went to his office to ask how he's been doing these past few days.
Before entering his office, a pettite girl with blonde curly locks went out. I suddenly remembered her as the one who bumped into me.
"Oh, you're -" I started but she cut me off.
"Pretty. Thanks," She snapped, raised her right brow and left.
I shrugged and went in my uncle's office.
"Hey uncle! How have you been?" I greeted him cheerfully and kissed his cheek.
"Busy," he smiled. "You? Have you figured out what you want yet?" My uncle knew I was having a hard time deciding what to do for myself in the future. He reassured me that whatever my decision would be, he'll support me.
"Not really, but..." I trailed off.
"What is it?"
"I've been thinking, if.. If I should sign a contract with you?" I asked. My uncle's face lit up.
"Personally, I think you have a future in this industry," he stated. "I'm not saying this because you'll be signed under me - if ever - I'm saying this as someone who was with you since then. I know you have potential, Raeya. And I'm sure you'll do great."
"You really think so, uncle?"
"Yes," he smiled. "I'll make sure to make your future brighter, even though I can already see the spotlight on you."
"Well then, where should I sign?" I smiled.
Honestly, after seeing the boys train hard everyday for a few months, I got motivated. Actually, I envy them because they know what they want. I reevaluated my life during the retreat, and thought, what exactly is my dream? I thought of Yunhee, the boys being my friends. I like making people happy, especially my uncle. I saw how iKON made a lot of people happy. Well, my uncle has taken care of me ever since my parents died. He has been telling me that I should start training and try to bring out the best in me.
