"Can I have an explanation?" Giulia asked the girl with fury "Why didn't you come to the meeting, and now why are you leaving the Mercedes motorhome?" Giulia looked furious "I don't understand Alexis, if you want to leave Ferrari why did you start with us for this year?" Alexis didn't know what to say, Giulia wasn't wrong.

"Mercedes wanted to talk to me, I went to the meeting but I didn't change my position on Ferrari, yet." Alexis tried to reassure Giulia "They contacted me, I just heard what they wanted to say to me."

"Alright, you are young and free Alexis; if you want to leave Ferrari this is your choice, but please tell us about these things. We don't want to lose you, I can ask Mattia, we can offer more if you want." Alexis knew that Giulia was sensible, and that Ferrari can offer her more; but the thing they can't offer her was being closer to Lando.

"I know Giulia, it wasn't my intention to arrive one day in Mattia's office and give him my demission. I love my job, and this team; even if some days it's hard, but this is part of the job. I have respect and admiration for both of you." Alexis could see that Giulia was still upset

"I hope so, because you could get troubles around here. The paddock is small Alexis, everyone knows everything; so be careful, and for the fact that you didn't attend to the post qualification meeting this is inacceptable. I know Alessandro is not doing a great job now, but this is not a reason; this is a team sport, together we will go further. I don't want to see such an attitude anymore from you, also I heard that you used the McLaren floor a bit too much this past days; stop playing with fire Alexis, you will burn one day." Giulia was about to leave but she added a thing "I'm not blind Alexis, and I know where is Mercedes factory; until you aren't working for the same team, the problem will be the same for you. And I want to hide that Mercedes will be even more careful about that, since they are fighting for the championship." Giulia left Alexis in front of the Mercedes motorhome; she was weak her world was falling around her.

Alexis ran to reach her room, once she got in, she fell on the floor and started crying; this was too much for her, dealing with all the Ferrari tensions, Mercedes offer, and her relation with Lando. Alexis went for a cold shower, she was tired she wanted to directly go to bed; Alexis pulled on one of Lando's hoodie and a short and send a message to Lando.

Alexis didn't know if she even wanted to see Lando, but now there was no other choice. Few minutes later she heard someone knocking at her door, Alexis left her bed and walked to opened the door. Alexis was surprised to see Giulia standing in front of her, smiling.

"Can I get in?" Giulia asked

"Sure." Alexis was astonished with the situation

"I received a call from Harry, he told me that he first approached you on Thursday. I realized that I might overreact previously, I know you want to involve in this sport and let your imprint in this world; you impressed Lewis, Alexis. It's him who asked Mercedes and Harry to contact you, to be honest I didn't think about your future when I reacted earlier; this is a one in a life chance for you and you should take it." Giulia smiled at Alexis

"I'm sorry, but I'm a bit confused; do you want me to leave or stay at Ferrari?" Alexis didn't know how to deal with this strange situation

"I don't want you to leave Alexis, I want you to fly; I'm as upset as you with Alessandro attitude." Giulia pulled her in a hug "I will be honest with you; this is probably my last season with Ferrari since I need to leave Italie for personal reasons. I will stop working in the F1 industry for some years, Ferrari is dying slowly and I don't want you to die with it. The way I react earlier is because it was in public, this is your chance to reach the sky Alexis; so, go for it." Giulia gently pulled her back
