'How can I not worry?' Alexis thought, she wanted to call Charlotte; but since the race was in less than one hour she needed to help for the car and all the settings. Alexis decided that it was worth it so she tried to isolate herself, before she found a place Carlos came next to her.

"I guess you saw the news?" the Spaniard looked at the girl

"About?" Alexis was a bit confused

"Lando, he won't start the race due to medical issues. Apparently, he is hospitalized." Alexis hated this word, so much bad memories emerged in Alexis' mind; a tear started running over her face.

"I know" Alexis said trying to avoid the tears, but Carlos could see that she wasn't feeling great so he pulled her in a hug.

"Our lil kid is a strong boy, I'm sure everything is going to be okay. Everyone is taking care of him, you can't do anything now so take a deep breath and the only thing you can do now is waiting for the end of the race. I know Lando, and I'm sure the only thing he wants is you to not worry about him; I know it's hard when you have feelings for this person but trust me, when you can't change the situation there is no point of worrying." Alexis was still holding him like it was the only way for her to stay on her feet. "Have you any news from him, since he is in the hospital?" Carlos asked

"No" Alexis softly replied

"Do you want to call him or anyone there?" Carlos could see that Alexis was deeply affected with the situation; as a response Alexis moved her head to say yes "Okay, come with me; you will call in my driver room. There no one will disturb you." Alexis slowly moved backward and walked with Carlos to his room. "Seat on the sofa, he isn't very comfortable but useful. Wait a bit before calling anyone, if he hears that you have cried this will affect him."

"Thank you for everything Carlos." Alexis said still sobbing a bit

"It's normal Alexis, remember I told you that I was okay to help you. So now I will let you some space to call, if anyone ask, I will say that you were seized by dizziness." Alexis nodded and Carlos closed the door; Alexis took a deep breath, wiped the last tears and called Charlotte.

"Hi Charlotte, is Lando with you?" Alexis asked when Charlotte picked up the phone

"I'm waiting in front of his room, I'm not able to go in now; he is with a doctor."

"What happen?" Alexis wanted to understand why the brought him at the hospital

"When I came back to his room, he had a lot of temperature, a strong headache and dizziness. We called you doctor and he said it was more prudent to bring him at the hospital, but no need to worry about the situation."

"Did he eat something for the lunch? It's important. I can't come for now, and honestly I don't know if I will be able to come one day but you need to take care of him." So much things were running on her mind that it was a bit blurry

"He didn't want to eat something, but I will buy him something for his diner. I'm staying with him for the rest of the day and if I need the night as well. I will do my best for him Alexis." Charlotte wated to cheered up the young girl

"Thank you Charlotte, when you have anything new please send me a message or call me." Alexis wanted to hear his voice, but she couldn't do much since he was with the doctor

"It's normal Alexis... Oh, the doctor is leaving his room; so if you are okay wait 5 minutes and I will see what happened." This was a bit of hope for Alexis, Charlotte didn't hang up and 3 minutes later Alexis heard her voice again "Great news he is perfectly fine, just a lot of fatigue; he will sleep at the hospital just in case but everything should be fine. Second great news he isn't sleeping so I will give him the phone so he could hear you, and after that I'm sure he will be ready to go."
