Blood is flowing down my arm. Why? It shouldn't be flowing that much there must be something stuck in the wound. As I turn my arm around I hear the horrified gasps behind me. There is a piece of glass from the window pane I fell on sticking out of my arm just above my left elbow. There is about nine centimetres of it sticking out and judging by the wound about two to three centimetres stuck inside my arm. I touch it and my arm twitches at the pain that shoots up my arm. Just then Niall comes rushing round the corner and stops dead in his tracks. He looks confused looking from the pool of blood on the floor to the group of people just standing around looking dumbfound, then he notices my arm. His eyes widen in shock then he does something I don't expect. He turns to the group and starts yelling at them.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" they just stand there looking at him, still trying to process what has actually happened. Either that or I have shattered their ear drums, which is quite possible. But before they can process that Niall starts snapping orders at them.

"Quick someone get a teacher and someone else go to the nurse's office and tell them what has happened. Can someone else please get something to stop the bleeding with. The rest of you just sit down over there. . . Quick" All of a sudden people are everywhere some going left some going right people going in pairs someone went to throw up in the garden and someone else has to lie down probably because of all the blood. Niall comes towards me, his brow furrowed in something like horrified confusion mixed with sympathy.

"Are you alright?" his voice is coloured with panic and worry. He sits down next to me looking confused and concerned. I can tell he has no idea what to do. His hands do some jiggered movements before moving closer to the wound on my arm, but I pull back.

"I don't want to touch it I just want to look." He says without taking his eyes off the piece of glass and tries to gently grab my arm again. But again I pull back

"Don't touch me!" I don't mean to be rude but I have no idea what could happen if he touches my blood, maybe nothing or maybe he becomes infected with some horrible disease.

"Okay, okay, can you at least hold it up so I can see it properly?" he asks, looking at me with big eyes full of worry.  I couldn't resist, no one had ever looked at me like that before. So I hold up my arm and

"Holy Crap!" slips out of his mouth

"How are you so calm?! Did you lose so much blood that your brain has partly shut down?!" He looks at my arm in astonishment as if I have grown three heads and two tails on it.

Ms Ren and some of the girls from before come around the corner, she stopped dead. I could see it in her eyes. She was replaying the story of that day through her mind. The day my brother lost control, the day he broke completely. But then she saw my arm and in between all the emotions of confusion, horror, unsureness and concern there was also relief. Relief that she didn't have to call the organisation to lock me up. Relief that I hadn't lost it or broken or even hurt someone, because deep down inside she was scared of me, of my power and strength, of what I could do.

She hurried over to where I had propped myself up against the wall and tried to touch my arm.

"Please, don't touch it." I say looking at her with pleading eyes. She sees what I'm trying to say and doesn't try anymore, so I hold it up for her as well.

"Right we need to get you to a hospital asap." I nod my head, but then a shot of adrenalin hits and I start to panic Hospital? No, not a hospital anywhere but a hospital. The last time I was in the hospital I was a test subject, a lab rat almost. I was fresh meat, a new subject or idea to play with. Being the only two of our kind Nathan and I were like hitting the jackpot for scientists and the organisation sold us to the highest bidder.

I sit up straight. And look her dead in the eye.

"I am not going to a hospital." I say in a dead serious tone.

"Sweetheart, it's alright hospitals aren't anything to be afr-" I cut her off

"No Hospitals!" I push being completely serious again

"Okay we will sort that out later but right now we just need to get you somewhere so we can get this glass out of your arm." That makes me feel so much better hearing these words.

"The blood." I suddenly blurt out. Ms Ren looks at me confused.

"W-what?" she says furrowing her eyebrows

"I need to clean up the blood." I say in a panicked tone. I try to get up but I feel like a piano hit me on the head and I slump back down again.

"Wow, sweety take it easy. Don't worry about the blood for now I will make sure someone will clean it up later." I look up at her, she smiles a soft smile to comfort me. So I relax and nod.

"Niall why don't you come over here on her right side and help Scarlett onto her feet and to the infirmary?"

"Y-yes, of course." He stutters, after being quiet for so long he must have thought we forgot he was there. He quickly gets up and comes over to my uninjured side to prop me back onto my feet. I try not to lean against him while I get up but I end up doing so anyway. Ms Ren in on my other side trying as best and she can to help me without touching my arm.
