halloween was elsie and simon's favorite holiday. this year, they were dressed in a stereotypical witch costume. they had green face paint and pointy witch hats. elsie had a fake noose tied around her neck.

like every halloween they had spent together they would spend the money they earned by dealing on candies and chocolate. and then they would all meet up at kate's house where they would have a horror movie marathon.

and as usual the two lovers would then leave to go to simon's house where they would play this game they invented called 'candy time'.

so they basically had to spread out all the candies they bought on simon's bed and afterwards one of them would blindfold the other. The blindfolded one had to guess what type of candy the other was giving them, if they got it right they would have to kiss the other.

simon and elsie were on simon's bed facing each other and between them was the candy they bought spread out between them.

"alrighty, let's get started." simon said, rubbing his hands together. he blindfolded elsie and then made her eat a candy he chose randomly.

elsie's pov

the second si-money put the candy in my mouth — my taste buds immediately tasted like an extremely sour watermelon causing my face to pucker and my toes to curl. but i immediately knew what candy it was.

"wow this is one sour ass candy...let me guess, warheads candy?"

"ding ding ding!" simon said in a comedic manner." " now time for my reward."

"of course you picked an easy candy to guess, just so you could get a kiss from me, you dork. c'mon here."

simon happily howled like a small puppy and placed one of his painted hands on my thigh and the other one behind my neck and pulled me closer to him until our lips connected.

"i just realized we still have our face paint on." i commented.

simon shrugged and said "i don't care, i just want to kiss you, kiss you all night."

third person's pov

the two young lovers continued to play to game until they had eventually fallen asleep next to each other, their face still covered in green face paint.
