«Reader's POV: Dream»

Nothing was around me, it was pitch black, but I still had a sense of vision. It was dark, but at the same time, it was light. I spun my body around, trying to catch sight of anything. I looked down only to see the bottom of my feet being soaked, although I wasn't sure if whatever I was standing in was water.

The liquid was the same black color as the rest of the area, and I couldn't feel it. In fact, the only reason I could really tell it was there was the gentle waves it would make when I moved. Where the hell am I?

"Hello?"

I called while walking forward. My voice echoed through the area which only freaked me out more. I quickened my pace and called again, although not really expecting an answer,

"Hello?!"

"(Y/N) ..."

I spun my body every which way, searching for the familiar voice, the panic from yesterday returning.

"Will?"

"Help..."

"Will, where are you?!"

It was silent for a moment. The voice was no longer answering, Will was no longer answering. My breathing started to speed up, where did he go?

Suddenly, I heard a loud screech from a distance. As I heard it more from the echo, I realized it didn't sound human, but it hadn't sounded like any animal I've heard of either. When the echo stopped it was quiet again. I spun my body around one more time then jumped at the sight of my friend.
Will didn't look the same, he looked panicked, his eyes were wide and constantly looking around as if he were hiding from something, and his skin was pale he looked...cold. For a moment he looked me directly in my eyes and said,

"Find me."

Then his figure disappeared, and I heard the screech again, only this time it was continuous. I placed my hands over my ears as it got louder, tears welling in my eyes from the pain in my ears. I looked down at the water and froze, the water was moving, but I was staying still. I wasn't the only thing here.

The screech rang once more, completely passing through my hands and finding my ears. I squeezed my eyes shut, murmuring to myself, begging for it to stop.

«Reader's POV»

My eyes shot open and bolted around the room. I sighed when I saw that I was back in my bedroom. I looked over to see my brother's snoring face. Chuckling, I remembered that after last night's panic attack Dustin insisted on sleeping with me.

I rolled out of my bed and onto the floor, groaning at the slight impact. Using my bedside table to help me up, I stood over my bed and stretched. I walked over to my closet and pulled out an outfit for school. Walking into the hallway and towards the bathroom, my mind wandered to my dream.

I entered the bathroom. what was that place?

I took off my pajamas. What was Will doing there?

And I put on my school clothes. Was he safe?

I rested my hands against the bathroom sink and stared into the mirror, the biggest question running through my mind.
