"Let me out of here!"

Joyce had been screaming ever since she was put in these way too expensive handcuffs, dragged into an interrogation room and chained to a chair. She didn't have time for this, she had to get to that gate, find her son.

"Somebody, please!"

She struggled with her hands, trying to wriggle her wrists through the metal, but ultimately failing, resorting back to her previous attempt at escape,

"Let me out!"

Her head shot to the sound of keys jingling, the door being unlocked. She focused on the face that entered the room, she knew that face, she knew this man. Dr. Brenner. He kept his back faced towards her, her breaths shallow and her expression desperate. Her previous grunts and struggles were made to sound like whines as she helplessly watched him walk around the room, keeping his front facing the wall. Finally, he turned to look at her and it was like her breath was stolen. She never imagined she would be faced with the man who kidnapped Eleven, Jane.

"Your son, we know you've been in contact with him."

Joyce muttered a few words that were overlooked by Dr. Brenner as he continued,

"When? And how did you make contact with him?...Six."

"What?"

"Six." Dr. Brenner removed his coat, draping over the back of the metal chair opposite of Joyce. His head stayed down as he smoothed out the wrinkles, not making eye contact, "Six people have been taken this week. This...thing, that took your son? We don't really understand it. Its behavior is unpredictable."

Finally, Dr. Brenner sat across from Joyce crossing his hands over the table, looking her dead in the eyes,

"Like all animals, it eats. It will take more sons, more daughters. I want to save them. I want to save your son, but I can't do that, not without your help."

Joyce felt the handcuffs around her wrist tighten as she clenched her fists, this man, the man in front of her made her sick, "Stop...I know who you are. I know what you've done. You took my boy away from me! You left him that place to die! You faked his death! We had a funeral, we buried him! And now you're asking for my help?...Go to hell."

The doctor's face resembled no emotion, which only made Joyce's blood boil. He didn't want to save Will and she knew that. She knew that.

Hopper's body fell to the ground the longer the taser was held to his neck. His breaths came out in puffs as he looked up at the guard who dragged him into the interrogation room. Beside the guard were 2 people, a man and a woman. Hopper wasn't sure how, but he felt like he knew the woman.

"Okay, now what do you know?"

The man spoke up, his and the woman's stares stern, showing no remorse towards the situation or his current condition. Even with the pain that coursed through his body, he kept up his walls, he wouldn't betray Joyce, he wouldn't betray those kids,
