Riley's eyelids fluttered open as she sat up. Yawning, she put her fist on her eye gently rubbing it. She looks ahead of her and realized she wasn't in the place she would usually wake up, her bed. Her eyes widening and her body starting to ache as she looks around.

The hallway? She tries to stand up but was only able to slowly. What happened? Why did she wake up here. Capella! Where was she? A rush of energy enters her body and she searches the rooms near her. Luckily, Capella, was sound asleep on Riley's bed. A smile creeps along her face and she goes over to her. Rubbing her back gently, trying to get her awake.

"Capella, get up." Nothing. She rubs a little harder. "C'mon, what happened last night." Still nothing, is she dead?! Riley checks her pulse but it's fine. Are stars heavy sleepers? Another thing she needs to learn and mostly likely it is something owners get mad at stars for.

She sighed and just thought she would let her sleep. She must be tired anyways. She went out of her room thinking of possibilities of what happened last night. She remembers them putting on dresses and looking in the mirror. The way Capella's face light up when she saw herself in a dress, was happiness, actual happiness that Riley wished all the stars to have. And maybe even herself.. she walked along the hallway, and started to go down the stairs looking around. Just silence, as usual, her mum was gone like normal and her dad must have been at work.

No school. Something she dreaded anyways. It would be nice to just be invisible, so when she went, no one would even have to acknowledge her. It didn't matter if she was there or not.

She moved along the wood floor only hearing the little steps of her feet, until she realized something. Her feet slowly come to a stop, and she stays as still as she can. Nothing. She could hear the sound of her breathing and that was it? No birds. You heard that every morning. She went to her door, only still hearing her feet. And pressed her ear to the door. No noises of people, no birds still, no carts moving around, no nothing.

Putting her hand on the knob, she started to turn it. She could hear the door knob make a noise as it turned and she opened the door a little. Peaking her eye through, birds, all over her yard. Laying on their sides, frozen.  She panicked and opened the door all the way, seeing some squirrels laying, a dog near the road.

Walking on the yard, it was pure silence. She looked side to side and there was more.. humans were just laying on the ground, and stars and pets were just laying. She ran over to the closes person and felt their pulse. They're alive? But they're frozen, breathing but laying, dead silent. She could feel the air of their breath on her hand if she put it near their mouth. She stood up slowly.

"W-what is this.. what is going on.." she looked around not knowing what to do. She starting shaking, quaking, thinking of something to do. Nothing. Her mind was dizzy, it was too much to take in.
What is this?
Would it be like this forever?
Her breathing was long from steady, her body was clenched and she suddenly felt tired.

Almost like she did this to the whole universe and was now tired from it. There was no way to fix it. Blur. Blur. Blur.

Her eyes flutter open. Same as before. Is it happening again? It was the same thing you would see in movies and books, the same day, on repeat. It couldn't have been possible.

Sitting up, she felt the comfort of her blankets, sheets and mattress underneath her. Well then, she must have over reacted since this was not were she woke up last time. A dream, that's what it was. Silly of her to not even assume that in the first place.

When she went to pull off her blanket but felt weight on top of the blanket beside her. Oh, to have a creature lying in bed beside you, very unlikely yet so rare as it has been said many times by her father. And of course he has meant it as a joke. Mother may be the one to drink, but at a younger age, father was the one to always get drunk and wake with woman beside him.

He is not like this anymore. A good thing, so believed. Riley looked beside her, it's just Capella. Of course, who else would it be. Just like when she first saw her, her hair covered her body, almost like a blanket.

She smiled softly as she saw her move slowly, meaning her breathing was calm. Meaning she had nothing to worry about, no old man got his hands on her, used her for bad. It really was a good thing Riley was the one to stumble upon her.

Sitting up, Riley is blinded by the light. Light, not dark. Something you would only see during the week since school gets you up early and the light does not come till later.

Joy does fill her. Maybe not so much, but it does. No school, no worries. The only worry is, what is she ever going to do with Capella? This girl, fallen from the sky and no where to go.

What can one do with a star, besides use it because they are lazy? Capella will decide. It is really not Riley's choosing. So she will let Capella decide once she awakes.

Standing on her feet, Riley gets up to get water. She usually is not a morning eater, what about Capella? Do stars eat like a normal person? This is difficult. Living with an unknown creature, we do not learn in school because we never care to learn. Stars are never asked, what they like, what they eat, how they feel. Nothing. It's just, do this and that until you die.

She sighs and spins around going back upstairs. She turns into her room where Capella was asleep. On the floor, she lies still asleep. How could she have fallen off? Riley didn't hear anything from downstairs. Weird.

It's been long enough, so she goes over and pats Capella gently.
"Mind waking up?" To her surprise Capella shots up with a grin on her face.
"Riley! 𝙸 had the coolest dream. 𝙸 was in a castle with one of those dresses you have! Swaying around.. around.." she stands up and starts moving her self around the room.

Riley giggles slightly and watches her. She starts to approach Riley's desk. "Wait be careful-"
A loud boom is heard through out the house. Capella's body hits the table, hitting her drinks and pencils. A noise is heard downstairs..

"RILEY!"
