How could she not notice this? It was pretty much right in front of her, but she was blind. now what?

"Where are you from?" The girl looked around and shrugged.

"I don't know how to tell you because I don't know what you call it." Riley tilted her head and looked up at the sky then back at the girl.

"You are from up there right?" She pointed up hoping that would make sense.

"I think so, we look at you from above so possibly." This was all too confusing. It didn't help that she couldn't get a straight answer from her. From what she knew, Capella wasn't like her, so it's almost like they spoke different languages only knowing a fragment of each other's.

"Capella." The girl's attention was now on Riley, she stopped picking at the grass and started to realize that from Riley's tone, this was serious.

"Are you a star?" Riley asked.

"Yes."

She had to hurry before Capella got taken in like all the other stars. But where would they go? Riley might not be able to take her in because of her father. Not just that, Capella was a stranger, who knew what she could do. But, if she didn't.. she would just be treated like all the others. Riley had a chance to save one, she couldn't just let this go. So, without a plan at all she stood up and was going to let her body do whatever it though was best.

With that, she put her hand out.

"Take it, please. Follow me." Fortunately, Capella did as she was told. Riley turned and started to walk.

"Capella, once we get out of this forest, we will have to do some running but also some hiding. Don't go waving to everyone you see, ok?" She didn't hear an answer but felt a tight squeeze on her hand, hoping that meant ok.

The two made it out of the forest, Riley really wasn't ready for this part. She couldn't let anything go wrong. Taking a breath, she started to walk again, Capella following in the same pace. There were people around, so she looked behind her and funny enough, Capella was doing what Riley was going to tell her; keep her head down.

There it was again. The sound Riley dreaded. The sound of screaming and yelling of stars being tortured. She held Capella's hand tighter, believing she was telling her it was ok but really, she wanted to know, was it really ok? What was she going to do? Keep her forever? What if someone finds out? Capella would get taken. She didn't know her, but she did know that she didn't want that. For any of the stars.

Instead of going deep into her thoughts, she decided to worry later. Man, she really wished she had her headphones to make it easier to block out all the noises around her. She was getting better though, so just tried her best to block them out without the headphones.

After a while she could feel that she was getting closer to her house. It was a surprise that nothing had happened on their journey to her house from the forest. Just hoped that it stays that way. Capella was still quiet; you couldn't even hear the sound of her footsteps. Almost like a feather..

At last, Riley's house was in view. How was she going to get inside? Yes, her father may not have been home, but he could have been. Riley's family didn't have any vehicles since they couldn't afford one. Well, they could it's just her Mother uses most of their money on drinking, even though it would be easier for everyone to have one, she didn't care.

Going up the driveway, they made it to the house. Instead of going to the front door it was probably better to go to the back. They both got to the back door and Riley turned to Capella.

"Ok, listen. I'm going to go inside first, stay right here. I will come back for you." Capella nodded almost like she was too scared to speak, like she was going to get hurt if she did. It was easier to not speak; Riley knew that too well.
