Since Vincent woke up late, his mother took him to school instead, Because his dad left early that day for work.

Vincent: "Oh, Where is dad?"

Mama: "He left early as he had a meeting. Please hurry up as you will be late for school."

At the gate of the school, when Vincent's mother is about to say goodbye to Vincent, he suddenly complains about his tummy.

Vincent thought, "Christine is sitting behind me and after yesterday when she noticed me, I felt embarrassed."

Vincent: "Ma, my tummy hurts."

Mama: "Wait! what? Guard, may I take my son to the clinic. He is complaining about his tummy."

Guard: "Yes, Ma'am. Please go to the other gate and ask for the direction of the clinic."

Mama: "Thank you, Sir. Vince, can you walk? I will have you checked first by your school doctor. Will that be okay with you?

Vincent: "Okay Ma."

Vincent thought, "What am I doing? I am just pretending that my tummy hurts. I'm sorry ma."

At the clinic, the nurse requested Vincent to lie on the bed and the nurse gives him some medicine that can be rubbed on his tummy.

After 30 minutes, Vincent is still complaining about the pain.

Mama: "Son, do you want me to take you to the hospital for a check-up?"

Vincent: "But Ma, are you not late for work?"

Mama: "I already informed the office that I will take a leave today because you're sick. Wait, I'll book a grab car and take you to the hospital."

Vincent: "Thanks Ma."

At the emergency room of St. Luke's Hospital, Vincent is asked to lie in bed as the doctor checks on him.

Doctor: "What happened to you? Let me check your tummy. Is this painful?

Vincent: "Doc, I think there is gas in my tummy."

Doctor: "Oh you probably drink a lot of sodas. I will give you some medicine to calm your tummy and avoid drinking sodas, okay?"

Vincent: "Yes Doc, Thank you."

The nurse then injects 5 ml of omeprazole for his abdominal pain. Vincent is asked to take some rest. After which, he is discharged to go home.

Mama: "How are you feeling now?"

Vincent: "I feel better, Ma. Thank you."
