A contest was introduced by their Class Adviser, Ms. Velez, where the girls would compete with the boys through a dance or singing performance. Vincent on the other hand was invited by his male classmate to join their so-called 'Boy Band'. Their group has been practicing almost every day during recess.
Because of that, Vincent could no longer join Christine in their favorite spot to talk about anything under the sun.
Clare: "Why do you look so sad?"
Christine: "Nothing. I just hate not seeing and talking to Vince."
Anne: "I think he's with John and the other boys."
Christine: "Why is he ignoring me?"
Clare: "Maybe he is just enjoying the company of the boys. You know, they have the same passion."
Christine: "I still don't understand why he does not give me some time for us to talk."
Anne: "He likes to be with the boys."
Clare: "No. I heard they are just practicing their performance. Anyways, he still stayed with you after class, right?."
Christine: "But still I don't like the way he ignores me." //pouting//
