"That is the hollow, I would suggest you keep away from there" the man said, looking in the direction Taehyung was in. Curious, Taehyung questions him "Why is that?" "The hollow is where the pixies live, those little creatures manipulate people and cause a lot of trouble, they can even sound like one of us" The man says.
"Taehyung.." Hearing Lisa call his name Taehyung looks towards her "Did you call me?" She simply shakes her head in a no, confused Taehyung looks back in front shrugging it off as his imagination. The man continues to show them the rest of the area.
Back in the village the leader was telling you about this forest and what might have caused the earthquake. "For years we elementals have used the help of these four elements - fire, water, earth and air. They have become a part of our lives, this little spirit with you is the fire spirit" she takes a sip of her tea, her eyes had a far off look.
"Years back your kingdom and ours were in harmony, we helped each other. When the previous leader found out some were misusing the force of nature he sealed this enchanted forest from Armatan. There was a fight between the two, the spirits enraged turned their magic against us all and it caused the rift which killed many from your side and ours after which the spirits went torpid" you nod in understanding, you were reminded of the story your father once told when you were kids. Now the question was why was this happening after so long of that incident.
"Why do you think that this earthquake happened now after years of the rift?" She strokes her chin in thought "The spirits are awakened again for some reason. There was a prophecy of a fifth element that is said to be a bridge between us and the magic of nature. Some say they heard it about 20 odd years back. We were the only ones affected by these things before but now your kingdom is too affected" She pauses remembering something
"It could be because of the barrier having a crack, it is something that happened only recently. Some of the creatures from here even trespassed, including the fire spirit" you think back to the time you felt some energy from the forest '𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘬..'
"There is another thing bothering me..since the earthquake my magic felt something, I feel it, and it is like it is calling out to me" You say as the leader takes your hand and closes her eyes, you again see your mark appear "That is the mark of the fifth spirit. Femte ond"
"Would finding this spirit fix things?" You ask "Maybe but I don't know where it is, your mother's clan were the protectors of the fifth element. Only they knew where it was...But with her gone we have no knowledge of where to look" the leader said as you sigh "What if I follow this..magic I feel?" "I don't know where it will take you but it might lead you to the spirit" you thank her and take your leave to find Jimin, you wanted to ask him if he felt this magic too, together you might have a chance at finding the fifth spirit.
You go to the place you were given to rest and find all three of them there with Bang, Mochi and Yeontan "How did the talk with the leader go?" Lisa asks "We aren't sure how we can reverse this but I think the fifth spirit will have the answer to that. Jimin, do you feel it too? The magic?" you answer Lisa then look at Jimin who nods his head "I felt it from the time we entered the shadow forest" "Mother was the last person who knew where to find it, maybe if we follow this we might reach there" you say "Together our powers will be stronger" Jimin said as you nod.
He stands up and holds your hand as the marks appear on both your hands, closing your eyes you focus on the magic. Suddenly you hear a voice, like it is calling out to you, opening your eyes and looking towards Jimin shocked " "Did you hear it?" Jimin asks shocked himself "yes"
"Something feels off.." Taehyung mutters hearing the voices from outside. He opens the door as a gust of wind hits you in the face "What's going on?" You shout over the wind "It is the wind spirit!" Someone responds as they clear the area. Before you could even process what was happening you and Jimin were carried into the tornado.
"y/n! Jimin!" Lisa shouts trying to get to you while Taehyung held her back "Lisa you can't do anything! You'll end up caught in that too!" "But my sister!" She looks at you struggling there, in the midst of all that you and Jimin see images "The past will help you save the present' a voice said, in the images you could see your parents and saw a flash of a little boy drowning, you saw the fight too.
Your hand suddenly glowed and as abruptly as it started you were back down on the ground, in front of you were ice sculptures of soldiers and the elementals. Taehyung looked at them awe struck "What is happening here?" Taehyung asks, taking a closer look. You look at the leader who approached to confirm if it was from the fight, from her face you got your answer "It is from the fight that happened nearly 40 years back" you answer Taehyung's question. You notice something off about the sculptures next to it, but you couldn't tell what it was.
"Weee wind!" You hear a light voice say, expecting it to be a child you look behind but were left shocked when you saw that Mochi was in the wind, which seemed much calmer now "You can speak?!"
