A horn blows off in the distance startling you and the others "We should go back to the village" Jimin says as you nod your head, the three animals follow you back. Once you reached back you saw the people putting out all the lights.
"What was the horn for?" You ask the person who held the cone shaped instrument in her hand "After sundown the earth giants, the spirits of earth, awaken and roam north" she informs you. This raised your suspension, why the north?
The land beneath your feet starts vibrating and you hold on to Jimin "They are here" the woman says looking towards the mountains which start moving closer "Wow..what are they?" Lisa asks as she and Taehyung return "The earth giants" you reply staring at the rock figures.
"We should hide" the woman says signalling you to follow her behind a large rock. "Isn't that the fire spirit.." Taehyung whispers seeing the trail of fire moving gradually towards the giants "What is that little troublemaker up to" Lisa mumbles seeing him disappear behind the bushes, following it a loud sound boomed sounding almost annoyed.
The ground shakes more violently as a giant comes into sight, walking towards the stream. It's big foot lands in the stream creating huge waves and it blocked the flow of the stream. Wiping the water that splashed on your face you look back to see a horse like figure form in the water which splashed the giant's foot away from the stream allowing it to flow again.
The wind started moving faster as you see even the air spirit appear. A part on their head starts glowing, their mark appearing on their head.
A circle forms in the sky, feeling the familiar sting you see your and Jimin's intertwined hands on which your marks glowed. Beautiful lights appear in the sky as in the middle of the circle, between the four elements the fifth mark appears. A low tune resonates through the forest, your eyes widen in recognition.
'Mother's song...' You and Lisa think at the same time and look towards each other. The circle slowly starts fading and the sky goes back to how it looked, feeling the ground vibrate again. You see the spirits moving towards north while the fire spirit crawled to you repeatedly looking towards where the other spirits were headed.
"Ahtohallan" you whisper remembering the river your mother used to tell you and Lisa about when you were kids, the river in the song. Jimin who heard you looks at you with a raised brow "It is said to be that source of all magic" you tell him "We should move north" you add later.
"We can start towards it in the morning, now it would be hard to navigate through the forest and we don't know what all is there in this forest" Taehyung suggests as you nod "You are right, let us get some rest and leave when the first rays of sun appear" you go to inform the leader while the rest packed things to carry.
"Bang, it's better if you Mochi and Yeontan stay here. Take care of them ok?" Taehyung said as Bang rolls his eyes and nods "Yeah ok" he grunts eating an apple.
