The Frozen Bond || PJM

10 : Mother's journal

After a good rest that night, you four were up and ready early. You changed into comfortable clothes for travelling. Bidding the people goodbye you leave with you leading the way, Lisa was next to you while Jimin and Taehyung trailed behind.

Jimin was awestruck by your beauty, the clothes that you were wearing was made by your powers, just like his, it was a colour of light blue and white. Your hair tied up in a high pony, it made you look different since you would always leave your hair open, a good different.

"Stop staring or you'll creep her out," Taehyung nudged Jimin, with a teasing grin on his face. "As if you weren't doing the same with your princess," Jimin scoffed at his best friend, as time went by, Jimin and Taehyung had gotten close. 

You were walking with a slight skip in your step, you felt a strange excitement building up in you,  finally you will be getting answers for the questions which have been in your mind for a long time.  As you kept walking a dried-up land appeared in front of you, that area was lower compared to the rest of the land. Your calculated gaze scanned the place, everything around indicating that this place was filled with water but now it was all gone and left only this barren land. 

The direction of the wind changes as the wind spirit appears in front of you, hovering above a particular place.

"It's trying to tell something," Jimin mumbled as you walked closer to it and looked down at the ground, there was a very old book laying down there. It looked like a journal, 'This looks familiar..but I can't remember where I saw it before'  

"Its mother's journal, sister," Lisa chimed in, looking at the old rugged book in your hand. "It must have drifted here with the water" you mumbled to yourself. You flipped through the pages, reading what was written in it. She had written about how she and your father were sailing through the dark sea to reach ahtohallan, she also mentioned why they were going there. They were hoping to find more about your powers and if they could do something to get rid of them. 

As you kept flipping the pages, you came to a place where she has mentioned about the fifth spirit, and you mentally read the line that caught your eye, 'the fifth spirit is what connects the magic and the humans'. "We have to find ahtohallan..Lisa, Taehyung return back to the forest and wait for us. The dark sea is too dangerous and you wouldn't be able to go through it" you said. 

Lisa shook her head, "no! I am not gonna leave you again," she protested. "Lisa, I am with her, please leave," Jimin  said. But Lisa was stubborn, you looked at Taehyung, as he gave you a nod, assuring you that he would take care of her. "Lisa, within that time we will find a way to break the barrier, we should free the people and the spirits," Taehyung said as she gave it a thought and hesitantly nodded her head. "Be safe," she hugged you, "you too," you smiled at Taehyung as you parted ways with them. 

You and Jimin started walking again, the way you both were going in was very silent, all you could hear was your footsteps. Soon enough you both reached the place where there was no path ahead, there was only water as far as your eyes could see. You thought you came the wrong way but you heard that same voice call out from the other side.. 

"How are we going beyond this?" You asked, Jimin thought for a moment before putting his arm forward as his ring changed into his wooden staff. He put his staff ahead of him and swirled in around as the water came to the land with the direction of his staff and it changed into a giant bird. You gaped at the creature as it spread out its wings and looked at Jimin. "After you my queen" Jimin extended his arm to you as you nodded and took his hand in yours.

He walked towards it and helped you to climb on it before getting on himself. His one hand gripped your waist while the other patted its head, signaling the ice bird to fly. It started flapping its frozen wings and lifted up into the sky. You were surrounded by clouds with the water under you, it was clear as a mirror, showing you your reflection, "do you like it?" Jimin whispered into your ears, as you nodded. 

Soon a land appeared ahead of you, it looked like a cliff, the waves were hitting it with full force. Just by the way they were clashing against each other you knew it was dangerous to travel by the water. The sky was getting darker and more cloudy as you got closer.

The place gave off an ominous feel, the cold wind blew across your faces sending chills down your spine 'How will we get through?'.
