sea of comfort (and it's actually just dream's arms)

"baby, wait up," dream giggles as george presses small and delicate kisses along the expanse of his neck, pulling him closer as he mumbles incoherent words of drowsiness.

"i need to go to work, princess," said dream, who's trying his hardest not to give in to the brunette's temptation, given that he hasn't streamed in a while as fans continue to yearn for 'dream content'.

"stream with me, then," george continued to mumble and wrap his arms tighter around the blonde, whining when dream tries to pry his arms off of him.

"well, you're barely awake."

"i will be awake... in the next-" his sentence was cut off with a yawn, curling his body around the taller.

"the next 3 hours or so."

george heard dream laugh in a way that's too fond for anyone else to hear, before he feels the other pick him up and off the bed.

"god, you're so adorable." dream mumbles walking out of their bedroom and to his office room, the brunette clinging unto him like a koala.

"wait, you're streaming with me?" george asked, lifting his head up from his shoulder to look up at the other, shock prominent in his features.

"yeah, isn't that what you wanted?" the taller questions back, running his hands up and down his sides as he squeezed it every so often.

"but i don't really have the energy for it," george finished with a pout, trying with all of his might to just make dream not stream at all to instead sleep in for the day.

"you won't have to do anything, yeah? you can sit on my lap while i play. would you like that, babe? or is it too tiring for you? we won't have to do anything by then if you don't like the idea of that." he reassured him, leaning to softly peck him before leaning back and looking at him to search for any signs of discomfort.

"i think that's fine with me," george confirmed, giving him a soft smile before leaning in to properly kiss him, maybe too properly for someone who's trying to get a stream ready.

dream smiled into the kiss, leaning back as he let out a soft giggle. they finally walked into the room, the blonde setting him down on the small couch for a bit before calling him to come sit in his lap.

"c'mere, i'm setting up the stream, it'll be up in a bit."

all the brunette can do is comply, letting out a small hum into the air before walking towards the other. dream turns his chair to where george stands, opening his arms for him to accept as the smaller simply plops himself onto the taller's lap.

"are you comfy?" dream asks, wrapping his arms around the smaller's frame as he cradles him in his warmth.

george simply nods, a simple, "'m comfy," mumbled into the shoulder of the blonde as he smiles in satisfaction.

"okay, the stream's up now baby, d'you wanna say hi?"

"hello," he manages to say as sleep slowly engulfs him, seemingly obvious in the way he slurs his words.

"yeah, george said hello everyone. he's kinda sleepy so you won't hear much of him during the stream. he's annoying too so that's good news." dream whispers the last part playfully, the other giggling as his hand sends a soft slap into his back.

"i heard that, idiot."

"i'm sure you did." dream smiles, looking down at the tuft of hair with a face that's hidden in his shoulder, sighing contently before kissing the side of his head.

george like this is one of george's rare moments that he treasures the most.

its been so long and i apologize for that, i actually just lost motivation in doing this in the first place and i am very sorry for that one person who had requested smut !
