THE ROOM ABOVE IS HER DORM: Summer was nearly over. Two more days. Then college, I was moving in so I had to pack. My room smelled like Clean Cotton, a smell I done everything to maintain. I was going to miss it. However, I done some shopping and brought some vines, photos and other aesthetic things. I made my way to LDU. I had 2 days to get ready, and sort myself out. I was hoping for a single dorm, but I had already been told that was off the list.
LDU. It was beautiful, the castle points towered over me, I had never seen this block. I went to reception and met my Dorm Teacher, and grabbed my key. I walked up the never-ending flight of stairs (with four extremely heavy bags can I add). Finally, I had reached my room. 408, different.
I opened the door and was greeted with a smell of flowers, someone is already inside. I walked in to see Leo making out with some girl on MY SIDE OF THE ROOM, ON MY BED.
"Oh hey Maddy, hope you don't mind" he smirked.
Lost for words, I said "yea, well I do mind." And with that she left. I was sharing a room with Leo. Leo James. My crush. The hottest boy on campus.
Silence invaded the room as I unpacked, he must have got here yesterday, as his room was neatly sorted. I thought he would be messier. Oh I forgot to mention, if you couldn't already tell, the rooms were unisex. I grabbed the vines and was struggling. A light chuckle conquered the room.
"What Leo?"
"Well sweetheart, if you must know you look like you're struggling, would you like some help"
I nodded and he helped me. I done my room, it looked good I guess. I fell onto my bed, and grabbed my phone and AirPods and laptop. I put my AirPods in, and put on how to lose a guy in 10 days. The ultimate chick-flick.
I texted Lex
I'm sharing a room with Leo.
An instant reply:
YOU WHAT. THE REALLY CUTE BOY OMG IM SHARING WITH KATIE.
I laughed slightly.
Yep that one, please don't tell me you're falling in love with Katie 😘😘"
Now I really laughed.
