Maddys pov: Ugh. It's a saturday, they used to be my favourite but not since. They haven't been my favourite in awhile. ~Buzz~ My phone lights up. "oh so now she decides to respond." i mutter. HEY B SORRY I DIDNT REPLY WHATS UP. - Lex I decided to ignore it, i was still kinda pissed at her. girl i can see ur online idiot don't ignore me, we got invited to a party tonight. you down? i'm only going if you go 🙈 Oh lex. BITCH FR?? what theme, what time, where. i reply, no way am i missing out on a party. just party wear, it starts at 8:30 and d block girllll- she replies instantly my dorm 6:30 to get ready?
"Hey lex! i missed you, how was your week?" i say as she walks in. We begin to catch up while drinking a wkd each, superior pre drink. "oh it's great! i am sharing with some girl called katie, she seems sweet i guess." lex mumbles. She begins to tell me everything about everyone, i missed this so much. I pull my dress on and start getting ready on my hair while lex does her makeup. We are interrupted by someone walking in. "Hey sweet..." Leo begins "did i walk in on something?" "Noooooo we are just getting ready hehehehe" Lex begins. She was tipsy, i could tell. She had always been a lightweight and it always made me giggle. Leo walks out of the room leaving us to get ready.

8:00 "aaaa it's finally time for the party" lex screeches. We begin making our way to the d block. The moon sits isolated in the sky, not a star insight. I love summer evenings, it's not entirely dark yet but it is still beautiful. Birds chime in the distance, and lights reflect if buildings like mirrors. This school was genuinely beautiful, it was modern yet rustic and that was shown everywhere. I loved it already, it was my new home. Students lined the paths, some in pjs, some in dresses and jeans. Once we finally reached the block, it was so crowded you could barely see yourself. "Hold onto my bag mads" Lex said as i fell into someone.
They were extremely.. solid and warm? I felt a hand snake around my waist, and i was engulfed with a warm, comforting smell. One that i happened to know very, very well after this past week. "Watch your step, sweetheart" "i'm so sorry it was an accident, i'm so so sorry leo" i muttered flustered. He grabbed my chin and forced me to look up at him. "Mads, it's okay i was joking." Mads. I liked that coming from him. My name sounded sweet on his tongue, like it belonged there. Lex pulled me back to her in a hurry to try and get back outside. It was still late summer, and extremely humid, i was instantly glad about the excess amount of deodorant i put on. People seemed to be everywhere, literally everywhere. I managed to escaped to a little corner of about 12 people, 14 including me and lex. "Hey guys." Lex said, introducing me to them. They were her medicine friends. My eyes darted towards someone sitting in the corner, sipping on their beer. Leo. "Mads? Did you hear did you want it play spin the bottle?" Lex says as she hands me a cider, and proceeds to sit down on some guys lap. "Oh yeah sorry, this is Matt. Matt this is my best friend mads." "Hi matt, lovely to meet you" i felt eyes burning into the back of my head. There was no more seats, so i stood awkwardly in between matt and lex, and leo. I felt a familiar grasp around my waist, and i was greeted with a thump. I. Was. On. Leo's. Lap. His arm remained lounging on my waist. Lex was the first to spin the bottle, i anxiously sipped on my beer. God i hate beer, remind me why was i drinking it? It landed on some random person who i wasn't quite sure what their name was. She seemed mad it wasnt matt though,
