I collected my lunch from my locker and made my way to the Library, Alex invited me to sit with him and his friends but one I didn't know his friends and two I don't really like people so instead I went to sit with a good book whilst I ate.

When I walked in, after getting directions from Alex, I looked around for a good place to sit and an even better book to go with it. I decided on 'Miss Peregrines home for Peculiar children' by Ransom Riggs, as I'd been meaning to read it lately after my Dad recommended it to me.

I noticed that the Library was pretty much empty besides me and a singular boy, he looked to be studying for something. There was papers scattered all across the table he was sat at and he had his head rested on one of his hands.

I read a decent amount of the book and ate a little of my food, since I wasn't really all that hungry, frequently looking over the book and at the boy stressing over whatever he was working on. I got fed up of watching him suffer as it was quite painful for him just as much me and got up to see what he was doing.

"Can I help you?", the boy asked as I hovered besides him reading through his work.

"No", I replied not taking my eyes from his work, as I continued to look over his problem.

I pointed down at a number on his worksheet, "That should be a 5 not a 6, that's what's messing up the rest of the equation", I explained gaining a confused look from the boy. I finally looked back at him, his eyes meeting mine.

He was a raven-head wearing a black, long sleeved fitted top with a white short sleeved t-shirt over the top, with a panda on it, some black ripped jeans and rings perfectly spaced between his fingers. My gaze traced back up to his eyes, which hadn't moved from mine the entire time, not one look down at my body...It was unusual, every other boy would have, some girls too. But not him.

He looked down to his work and traced his finger over the equation probably checking it over in his head to see if I was right. "Thanks"

I watched him correct his mistake and then look back up at me a small smile now on his face, "No problem", I smiled back unable to help myself, he had a contagious smile. The bell went tearing both his and my attention to the clock, lunch was over.

I walked back over to my stuff and gathered it together, then watching him collect his and leave the Library flashing me a second small smile as he left. I pulled myself from my thoughts and put the book away then heading to my next lesson, Music.

I walked into the lesson and took the seat the music teacher had said was mine. It was besides a chirpy looking boy, a smile plastered on his face as he sat in a multicoloured hoodie and dark blue skinny jeans, his fluffy, brunet hair falling just above his eyes as he readjusted it.

He spoke to me throughout the lesson, his name was Karl, Karl Jacobs and he was a complete ball of energy, in all honesty watching him be so joyful and energetic tired me out as if I was the one bouncing in my seat. He made me laugh though, he was quite funny and randomly sung songs under his breath; Riptide by Vance Joy, Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhood even the iCarly theme song and his giggle was so wholesome.

I met another boy in English, a British boy. He said his name was George and he seamed nervous at first, playing around with something attached to his wrist, barley talking to me until the teacher asked us to discuss the subject she'd just been talking about. After that he barley stopped talking which I didn't mind. His voice was soothing, calming in a way .

My final lesson of the day was Maths, not my favourite subject but I find things easy to click on to, all I need is one explanation, after that I'm all good because I either get it or I don't and if I don't I'm giving up then and there. Plus I was sat next to a pretty silent boy, he seemed to be focused on something besides the lesson which then intrigued me and we were both off focus. He was trying to tie a bracelet onto his wrist but was struggling so I offered to help.

"I can help if you want", I suggested looking up to his slightly red face, he was defiantly getting fed up with it.

"Sure", he replied sliding his wrist over to my side of the desk.

I tied the bracelet making sure it wasn't too tight and then looked down smiling as if I'd just created some sort of masterpiece. I noticed the charm on the bracelet, a pair of oval, white rimmed glasses, "There."

"Thanks", he smiled taking back his wrist and playing with the charm, "I'm Clay but my friends call me Dream"

I smiled at his sentence, 'but his friends call him Dream', was he insinuating I call him Dream, offering me his friendship all because I tied a bracelet?
