All For Her! (YS Male Rivals X Reader)

Chapter 9: USB(ullshit)

So it's been three years... I remember virtually nothing about this fic but I left a basic storyline for this chapter before I stopped writing so here's a polished version >:)

(Y/N) fiddles with her keys for the front door, she just wants to go to bed and hope that sleep will get rid of her headaches and hallucinations and forget about the utter madness of her life as of late. Once she gets the door open, she flopped onto the sofa and inhaled deeply, exhaling when her lungs were filled.

The girl's mind was rerunning all the events leading up to this point. "What even is my life at this point?" She ponders.

Ayano wasn't back at home yet, she had told her that she had stuff to do. It wasn't questioned because at this point, to (Y/N), it was normal for her sister to go out without giving any extra detail. Ayano had always been like that; blunt and to the point, and while others believed her behaviour to be rude and disrespectful, (Y/N) found it charming.

(Y/N) turns on the TV to help get her mind of things and de-stress. Not caring about the quality of the show, the girl just kept whatever came on first, which just so happened to be a cheesy sitcom from the early 90s. "Perfect," she told herself, "I can just switch my brain off and relax while I'm alone..."

However, this serenity didn't last long at all. The disturbance was caused by none other than the man himself, Mido Rana.

"Oh dear, your face is exhausted, honey. Are you trying to get some beauty sleep?" He slyly slid the back of his hand across her cheek; a movement that made (Y/N) shoot up from her seat on the sofa and swiftly crawl backwards to get away from her latest hallucination.

"How dare you touch me after what you've done!" The girl spat out venomously. (Y/N) had built up her defenses again, even if he is just a ghost.

"Darling, you wound me, and yet I only wish you the best."

"I can't deal with this bastard,"  (Y/N) thought, "Who does he think he is?" The girl tried to rationalise with herself, "He's just a hallucination, he can't do much about my life other than get into my head. I shouldn't even let him have the chance to do that." It's decided. She was going to keep her head high, there was no way she was going to let a creep like him boss her around and mess with her mind anymore than he already has.

(Y/N) couldn't let herself be pushed around or be perpetually nice to everyone. She realised that she has to stick up for herself like she did with Ayano when Megamo was accusing her of literal murder.

"Really? Well then, for the sake of my mental well-being, I'd like you to get out of my head because I'm not going to let you influence me anymore." She says, now not interested in this conversation whatsoever, turning her attention back to the TV, noting how one person in the audience was laughing a lot louder than everyone else.

All the man did in response was chuckle menacingly and say "As you wish, my dearest..." With that, he vanished. "Oh shit, that worked? Word, I can deal with this easy-peasy,"  (Y/N) smirks victoriously to herself. Almost on cue, Ayano walked through the front door with a white plastic bag in each hand.

"Welcome back! Get anything for me?" The girl says, turning around on the sofa to face her sister with a hint of mischief in her tone, trying to decipher the odd shapes in her sister's opaque shopping bags.

"Of course, here catch," Ayano throws her sister's favourite treat from their local store," "Other than that, I just got milk 'n' stuff." Ayano replied bluntly. She wasn't exactly lying, but she had more than just simple groceries.

"Hey...Ayano?" (Y/N) was contemplating whether or not to tell her sister about her disturbing and, quite frankly, disgusting hallucinations. "Y'know what, never mind it's nothing." Ayano gave her a look, but knew that her sister obviously didn't want to speak about whatever she's been thinking about just yet. "I'll just have to coax it out of her at some point..."
