Chapter 9

Her week at Phil's felt like it sped by. They spent it recording videos, catching up, and just generally bonding. As Phil was helping her pack up on the last day, she decided to ask for advice. 

"Hey Phil can I ask you something?"

"Ask away mate."

"So like, let's say I-uh had a crush, right?"

"Mhm."

"And they were like, one of my super close friends."

"Mhm."

"And I didn't want to ruin that, since I don't know if they feel the same."

"Ah."

"But I also want to shoot my shot."

"I see."

"What should I do? Do I risk it, or bury the feelings?"

"Well it depends. Who are you crushing on?"

"I-uh-...Dave..." She whispered. 

"Ha-HA! I told you Trixtin! She likes the blade!!" He yelled downstairs. Y/N gave him an 'are you kidding me' look and crossed her arms. He looked at her nervously. She switched to a 'You'd better explain' look. 

"Trixtin and I had a feeling you had a bit of a crush...and may or may not have placed bets on who it was...She thought it was Will...and now she has to give me 5 tier 1 subs..." He explained, rubbing the back of his neck. Y/N sighed and shook her head in her palm.

"So what should I do Phil...?"

"Shoot your shot mate! Honestly I don't think you'll regret it. Maybe do something artsy or in Minecraft?" Y/N practically had a lightbulb appear above her head.

"That gave me an idea! Thank you so much Phil!" She tackled him into a hug and grabbed the rats. He took her suitcase and they went down stairs. She gave Trixtin a big hug as well, then the three of them all hugged. 

"Oh wait I almost forgot!" She pulled out her phone and they took a group picture. She had made it a tradition to do this every time she visited them, owning a photo album for it and everything. She said bye and told them she'd try to visit more often, possibly every two months if she could. With a new idea and new advice, Y/N was on her way home.
