Dave hung up the call and put his phone in his pocket. He was blushing profusely. The past days had been insane, and the prospect of meeting his new girlfriend, and long time best friend was crazy. He was terribly nervous, but also excited, he could barely stand still. He'd been pacing by the door for twenty minutes, anxiously fiddling with his car keys.
"DAVE!!" Y/N shouts, running towards him. She drops her bags and tackles him into a hug. He hugs her back back tightly, like he never wanted to let go. And for that matter, he didn't. Not now, not ever. She was so warm and so happy, face buried into his torso. Eventually, they let go, her gripping his arm as they walked to the car.
(A/N: So sorry for short chapter and lack of uploads. I'm working on a ton of these rn and additionally, Techno's cancer diagnosis hit hard and I couldn't work on this :/. But I'm back and new long chapter soon.)
