Today was the day. One week until she went to Vidcon. The day she professed her love to Dave. Y/N was fucking terrified. She had told Dave she made a map for him, given him the ip to the server it was on, and told him it wasn't to be recorded. He said he'd be on around now so she was testing the map out for the eighth time today in anxiety. It had to be perfect. Suddenly, she got a text.

D- Hey, joining the server now
Y- k i'm in already waitin
D- ok sorry to keep you waiting
Y- all good, join our vc too
D- ok doin' it now
She jumped into the VC and he came into the game, entering the VC a second later.
"Helloooo." Dave's monotone voice rang through her headphones, making her blush more than usual.
"Hey mate!"
"So you've prepared a map for THE Blade, mm?"
"Yep! Bet you won't be able to beat it, mate."
"We'll see about that, Y/N." They were both quite fond of a challenge. She snickered. He started out on the first part, the parkour. He aced it, just like they both expected. She admired his abilities. Every thing he did was calculated, may it be without thinking of it, or thought through. He really was amazing. He stopped, though, before the dropper.
"Is there any lapis down there?" He asked. She laughed.
"No Dave, no lapis. I didn't want it to be impossible for you." She replied, still chuckling.
"Oh ha-ha." He said sarcastically. Dave went through the levels easily, drop after drop after drop. He fell through the last level, quickly arriving into the room themed after him. He opened the chest after looking around, both in admiration and for traps.
"Bruhhhh you didn't tell me I was gonna need a whole ass notepad and shit-" He said after looking in the book. Dave was silent for a moment as he decoded the message.
He did his signature happy gasp. "Oh my fucking god-wait this-this-you're fucking with me right? This is a joke?" She didn't answer for a moment, stunned.
"I-I n-no! It isn't! I-I really do like you, Dave." He clasped his hand over his mouth, tears gently teasing his eyes. He pushed his chair back from his desk and took off his headphones. She liked him! She fuckin liked him! After a moment of realization, he came back to his desk, put his headphones on, and wrote a coded message back in the book.
"Dave? Dave? Are you the-Oh! A message?" Dave shook his minecraft charecter's head. Now it was her turn to react.
"I-I-Oh-oh my-oh my fuck-D-Dave, how long...?"
"A-a while...you know I don't do time Y/N...you?"
"A while...months I'm sure..."
"S-so what do we do now, N/N?"
"I-I don't know...I just came out of an abusive relationship and I-I trust you but...its just...you know...?"
"Yeah I get it. Hey look at me." He turned his camera on on Discord. "I'm here for you okay? Take all the time to think that you need, okay?" He said softly, pure love in his eyes.
She paused for a moment. "I don't think I need anymore time." She said, beginning to cry. His face turned to shock.
"I love you Dave." She choked in between tears. He flushed red, eyes tearing up as well and turned off his camera, typing I love you too in the Minecraft chat.
Rubyxmooon-'I cannot wait to come see you.'
Technoblade- 'Can you come sooner...?'
Rubyxmoon- 'I mean yeah, I didn't book the plane tickets yet"
Technoblade- 'how soon?'
Rubyxmoon-"day after next if their booked now, want me too?'
Technoblade- 'if you can"
Rubyxmoon- 'already booked love'
Technoblade- 'So you'll be on the plane day after tommorrow?'
Rubyxmoon- 'yep :D'
Technoblade-'Oh shit I gotta go clean up!-call me back on the phone N/N!
Y/N smiled sighing. She loved her dumb pig.
