"Oh, great." I muttered as the Warlords vision flashed into view, he had sent a red mech into a portal. I blinked as my vision returned to normal.
"Get behind me." Optimus commanded, and for once, I listened.
"I could run back." I pointed out.
"Then the location of our base would be exposed." He said grimly as he got out a gun.
"Or fly, he sent a grounder through." I said as I transformed and threw my wings out while the red mech came through.
"Oh, lookie here!" He smirked, as if flirting.
"Get flapping!" Unicron hissed as I gained height and flew into the desert.
Then I heard an engine from behind, I twisted my neck to get a visual but only caught a missile as it collided with my backstruts. Pain seared through me like an infection. I let out a squawk of agony as I descended, feeling the plating peel off from my frame.
The Seeker trailed me as I softened my landing in a sand dune and transformed with difficulty.
"What happened?" Primus asked, filled with worry.
"Seeker shot a missile." I grunted as I looked through the sky, but sure enough he was already on the ground.
"Well, if it isn't the little thief." He croaked as he slouched over, red optics looming over me. "Now, come with me quietly, if you know what's good for you." He sneered as he approached.
I attempted to stand but feel over due to my loose footing. "Make a gun!" Unicron demanded. The seeker blinked.
"Sound advice." I muttered as I felt the dark energon run through my arms and down into my servo. I let off a shot before it was fully formed, it sent the seeker flying through the air, leaving the scent of burnt circuitry.
However, the sound of transformation and a fading jet engine was reassuring. "Coward." I muttered as I fell back onto the sand and the gun vanished.
"Take some energon, you'll feel better." Primus suggested and I did so wobblily.
"Seekers are such cowards." Unicron giggled.
"Your creation was just shot!" Primus shrieked, "At lease pretend you care!"
"Eh?" I looked up as another engine approached.
"I do care!"
"Then-"
"I think Optimus is coming." I said, that shut Primus up.
"Now you can't argue with me, ha!" Unicron teased as I sat up, shielding my smothered backstruts from view.
"How'd it go?" I shivered as Optimus transformed but I closed my optics quickly. Optimus was back in my helm, yay. He left as soon as he came and I allowed my vision to return and see him adjusting his optics.
"Where is Starscream?" He got straight to it.
"The Seeker?" He nodded, "Gone, flew off." I said as I wobbled to my peds, but fell over again in pain, landing on my backstruts. Lubricant pricked my optics as I let out a whine.
"You're injured?" Optimus asked as he tried helping me to my peds, he got a good look at my backstruts. "What?" He gaped.
"He had a missile." I wailed as He turned my helm to get a look. Energon was leaking through and the lack of plating left bare mesh exposed, scorched by the missile.
As my adrenaline rush faded the pain increased. He picked me up, careful not to touch the exposed cables and mesh, as he called for a bridge as I sobbed quietly.
"Must've hurt huh?" Unicron asked, trying to sound sincere.
"Shut up." I mumbled into Optimus' shoulder as he walked through a bridge.
"What happened?" A voice asked as the artificially lit room came into view.
"The Decepticons tracked my signal." Optimus said as he walked.
"All your fragging fault." I said spitefully as I felt energon trail down my backstruts.
Optimus made no objection as we made it to the medbay, "Ratchet." He started.
"Hmm?" Ratchet turned from Bulkhead and spotted my marred Backstruts and responded in urgency. "I'll get the anesthetics, put him on the berth." He instructed hurriedly as he moved to some cabinets.
Optimus placed me down on my front as I let out a pained whimper and soon, I was in stasis.

We all heard a crash from the medbay. I peeked in, "Ratchet!" I called, "He's awake." I alerted him as he walked over.
"Sire is SOOO stupid!" He complained from the floor as Ratchet carefully lifted him back on the berth.
"You alright?" I asked as I crouched to his level.
"Primus fragged him." He whined.
"Cool." Ratchet muttered, "He's heavily sedated." He informed as Optimus walked in.
"No, go away." Augury sniffled, "I don't care!" He tried to roll onto his back but decided against that. Then glared at us. "I hate you." That hurt more than I expected. "Not you." He said, his optic on me.
I instantly perked up.
Augury started fiddling with his plating before he opened his chassis and took something out.
"What's that?" Ratchet asked, half his attention on a monitor.
"Dark energon." He muttered and shoved it down his intake before our optics. "Why?"
"That's bad." I pointed out as Ratchet shared a worried glance with Optimus.
"No, no. They're dumb and don't believe me." He fussed to himself.
"He just swallowed that-" I started.
"We saw."
"He might have more." Optimus added and nodded to me.
"Huh?"
"He likes you best." Ratchet started, "Less chance of him lying to you."
I understood what they meant and got to work, "Hey." I started.
"Hm?" He tilted his helm up and blinked.
"Got any more of that purple stuff?" I asked, he poked my chassis and nodded. "Can I have some?"
"No."
"Why not?" I asked, adding a hurt expression.
"Sire says it's his blood, and you can't have it." He mumbled and buried his faceplate in the berth.
I blinked, "What's you're Sire's name?"
"Unicron."
