I woke up this morning feeling sore and remembered why automatically, me and Justin mated last night. I smiled at the thought and rolled over to see Justin still sleeping and giggled.

"he's so cute", I whispered to myself

"thank you"

I looked around and was trying to figure out who was talking

"relax, I know this is new to you, I'm Lyle, Justin's wolf, I'm the voice in his head that talks to him about important things, I also apologize for my behavior in the woods please forgive me"

"....that was you?"

"yes Lilly, I'm sorry I hurt you too I don't know my own strength sometimes"

"that's quite alright, it's nice to finally be able to talk to you... but um.... can I ask you something?"

"of course you can"

"well... if i'm the mate of a werewolf... and i'm human... does that mean at some point i'll have a wolf of my own.. like he does with you?"

"to be completely honest with you... I have no clue, your case is the rarest one in thousands of years."

"oh.... either way it's good to hear a new voice"

"right back at you, I'll be able to speak to you when he's asleep, whether it's through the mind-link like we are now or through dreams, when he's awake you can only talk to him and not me unless you're asleep too, so remember that"

I nodded, "alright..... should I make breakfast?"

"oh yes please a woman's cooking is always great.... unless it's the queen's her cooking tastes like cat food.... it's terrible", he said chuckling while I giggled back

"oh so that's what he finds so amazing, your laugh and your personality and the fact no matter how bad he seems to be you'll be there for him, you really are a true queen"

I smiled and got up from bed, using the post to support me, last night was fun.

"you're welcome"

I scoffed and went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror at my neck, a large wolf and a small girl looking at the moon. My mark. I like it.

I walked out and into the kitchen and gasped, it was marble everything... this was like my dream kitchen

"don't forget the bacon"

oh right breakfast

I quietly got out frying pans and mixing bowls and started making biscuits, gravy, hash browns, pancakes, omelets, french toast, eggs, sausage and bacon, after I was finished I set out some plates and drinks with glasses and went back into Justin's room.

"Justin, are you awake now??"

he rolled over and stretched then sat up and looked at me, "i am now love"

"yay!" I went over to the bed and sat by him while he wrapped his arms around me.

"morning love I hope you slept well", he said kissing my mark, causing me to shiver.

I nodded, "yes I did, did you?"

he hugged me tightly and bit his lip, "i slept... well"

"care to explain?"

"just... dreams", he said chuckling.

I looked at him, "sweetie something's wrong I can tell, please tell me"
