Chapter 8

(a couple months later,

Justin's P.O.V)

"a little more to the left... no that's too much more to the right"

I was moving the couch around in the living room while my pregnant mate was giving me directions

"maybe I little to the left"

I chuckled at her, "baby girl please make up your mind"

After making Bryon the new king the first thing he chose for me to do was become the new Alpha for the pack, it was sort've a downgrade, but eh I can still make orders so it's not really a big deal We had been working a few days now on moving into our new pack house not too far from my old home, It was smaller than what I was normally used to but it wasn't too bad, besides, this was for Lilly and our pup so i'd give up a big house if it meant I could keep her.

she blushed adorably, "sorry Justy... there, perfect", she exclaimed as I moved it once more.

I let out a sigh of relief as I sat on the arm chair while Lilly lounged on the sofa rubbing her baby bump but soon looked up at me with a shocked expression

"Princess what is it? Are you okay?, is it coming? Do you need me to call-"

"it kicked"

I smiled and laid my hand on her stomach and right away felt a kick from my pup, I could not be more proud of my growing family

I lifted Lilly's shirt up a little and kissed her stomach, "hey little one, it's me daddy, I don't know if you can hear me yet but, I just want you to know that i love you and your mommy a lot okay? I promise you will find your mate and understand how we feel but right now I will do anything I can to protect you and momma. I will love you both and never leave you i'll be by your side whenever you need me, I don't even care what you are, whether you're born with an extra arm or if you're born healthy and normal, if you wanna be a boy or a girl I don't care just be what you wanna be just always remember, I will love you always, forever".

I then kissed her stomach again and looked at her with a smile, "you both mean the world to me and I mean that"

I hugged her, kissed her forehead and chuckled when she yawned, "aww little one you've been making mommy tired you need to let her rest", I said in a soft and low voice.

I stood up and held out my arms to her but she looked at me like I was crazy.

I chuckled, "come on princess i'll carry you, you know I can"

"babe look at me... i'm a cow, there's no way in hell you-"

I cut her off by picking her up with no difficulty

"told ya so", I said sounding childish, "you are no cow, you're carrying my pup that's the most beautiful thing ever".

she just giggled as I walked to our bedroom and laid her down on the bed

"sleep princess, i'll take care of everything"

she nodded, "but I can't sleep"

I was confused but then she pointed to her bump and I understood right away

"maybe if you sing to us..."

I thought for a minute... there's a song...

"it's not a soft lullaby... but it'll work I think"

she nodded and situated herself so she got comfortable

I smiled and stroked her hair while I started to sing.
