All because I met him [Akaashi x Reader]

Chapter 13

The dreadful night went on, and you peacefully cried yourself to sleep. Morning rolled around, and you wake up immediately at the sight of the sunlight. All the dreadful memories of last night flood back into your mind, and suddenly, out of nowhere, there you went, balling your eyes out for what seemed like the millionth time in the past 48 hours. 

After a good 10 minute crying session, you walked out of the quiet room and head towards the receptionists desk. 

"Excuse me, do you know if they performed surgery on Keiji Akaashi yet?" You ask the lady there.

"Are you Y/N Kageyama?" The lady asks back.

"Yes, I am." You reply.

"Great. The doctors are finishing up with Mr. Akaashi's surgery as we speak. In around 2 hours you shall probably be allowed to see him, and within a matter of days or weeks, you should be allowed to check him out of here." 

"Oh thank god." You say. "Will him and I have to take any safety precautions once he gets out?" 

"Well, he won't be able to do much exercise for around 6-12 months, he also won't be able to drive. I'm not sure on the rest of the precautions, but I do have a book back here that has everything you need to know about what needs to be done." 

"Thank you, ma'am." You say as she hands you the book.

You open it and find the page with all the surgery information on it and begin reading. 

You find that he won't be able to do much anything for quite a while, but you also have  part in helping him heal. You have to make sure he takes a specific medication every 10 hours and make sure he puts certain antibiotics on the wound spot. 

It doesnt seem to bad of a job for you to do. You head over to a chair and sit down, trying to get some more sleep. 

A good 5 hours later, you wake up to the receptionist lady in your face saying that you can go see Akaashi now. Your face lit up, hoping that he was okay. 

You walked in the room he was in, and saw all he tubes and bandages hooked up to him. The sight of it made you want to cry, but you didnt know if he could see or hear you so you had to be strong. 

"Keiji.. I dont know if you can hear me right now, but its me, Y/N. Your fiancé." You say, tearing up a bit. "A lot has happened and I really hope everything will be alright. If only I could have a sign that you can hear me, that would be grea-" You say when all of a sudden, Akaashis body starts shaking and he starts seizing up. 

You run for a doctor but by the time they get in his room..

Its too late...

(I have no idea how any surgeries work so correct me if im wrong with anything<3)
