Chapter 10

Hours pass, and no doctors have yet told you how the surgery on Akaashi went or if it was even done yet. "Hey, Bokuto?" You say.

"What's up?" He replied.

"Do you think Akaashi is going to be okay?" You ask.

"Y/n, I'm sure Akaashi will be just fine." Bokuto replied. He didn't sound too sure about it, but you wanted to believe that he was right.

Another hour or so passed and the doctors finally come out of Akaashis room. You ran over towards them. "Is he okay?!?"

"Ma'am, Your boyfriend is just fine. He is asleep right now, but the bullet is out and he should be out of the hospital soon. You may go see him if you'd like." The doctor said to you.

"Alright, thank you!!" You say to the doctor. You run over and drag Bokuto to Akaashis room and open the door. You see him lying there and you see his bullet wound all patched up.

"Hey, Keiji... I don't know if you can hear me right now, but I'm here." You say as you sit in the chair next to his bed.

Bokuto goes and stands next to you. "Hey, Akaashi.."

An hour or so passes and Keiji was still sound asleep. Kuroo came into the room and told you and Bokuto that visiting hours were now over and you two had to go home.

You said goodbye to Akaashi for the night and started to walk back to your house. Bokuto started walking back to his when he stopped. "Y/n, do you mind if I stayed with you again tonight?" He asks.

"Uhm sure?" You say. "I don't mind at all."

"Great..." Bokuto said as he began to walk towards you.

When the two of yous arrive at your house, you find a movie to watch. You choose Titanic because you felt like you needed something sad to get your mind off of Akaashi.

After around an hour of the movie playing, you and Bokuto both fell asleep.

Another hour or so passed and the two of you were still soundly sleeping, until your phone rang.

"Hello. Is this y/n? Akaashi's fiancé?" The person on the other line asks.

"Yes? May I ask who this is and why you are calling me in the middle of the night?" You ask.

"This is Kuroo Tetsurō, and I am Akaashis doctor for right now." Kuroo says.

"Oh-is everything alright?" You ask.

"Y/n, Akaashi was just bleeding out from his wound. It had somehow opened up while he was asleep."
