// hey I'm gonna add a reader insert because yes (Y/N), also (Y/N) is gender neutral in this and a decent friend of the freelance police \\
"Y'know Sam I'm starting to feel attached to the ol' perp and his lady. Should we really take em to jail or should we use em as training dummies?"
Sam chuckled at the comment but said nothing, they had gotten to the duo's office where GF and BF were just sitting on a couch beside a large hole in the wall, talking casually.
"Maybe we could just—" Sam thought for a moment. "Send em home? I dunno, they honestly don't look like from around here, now that I'm gettin' a better look!"
Max gasped, covering his wide, shark-toothed grin. "Oh Sam! You don't mean.."
"Yep, we're gonna have to go into the depths of hell to return this girl to her demonic parents and— well I dunno about the boy." He stood up, tightening his tie.
Max grinned, calling out to the couple, "Hey! We gotta go! Get up!" They rose to their feet and followed the latter out the office door.
They were walking casually toward the Desoto when a familiar voice was heard talking to themself. Max whipped his head around to see (Y/N), grinning wide with his sharky teeth.
"Yo, (Y/N)! Heeeey!" They looked up and smiled, walking over the the freelance police.
"Ayo, what's shaking, bud?" They fist-bumped Max, making a small a explosion noise.
"We were just about to attempt taking this stupid demon lady and her petty boyfriend home."
(Y/N) craned their neck to see two unfamiliar faces in the backseat. "Mmm, those two?"
Max turned to glance at them, then looked back to (Y/N), "Yes," he continued. "That's the two."
"Max, c'mon, get in the Desoto! We gotta go. Oh, hey (Y/N), you can come along if ya want, just hop in the back."
They nodded, hopping in the backseat beside the two strangers. Max sat in the passenger seat, bouncing up and down like an excited child.
They put some earbuds in, turning on an Ayesha Erotica song, humming to the beat of it, then they felt the car starting, Sam pulled out of the spot and drove swiftly off. (Y/N) almost forgot the story Max told them about how he chewed through the seatbelts because they hurt his neck, as they tried to grab a shredded seatbelt strap.
The other two beside them didn't seem worried about the health hazard, the demon girl just let her hair blow in the very fast winds. They clung to a seat, and just kept listening to Ayesha Erotica, nails dug deep into the seat.
Then they heard Max's shrill, goofy yelling through the earbuds.
"ALLAH AKBAAAAAAAR!" Max had leapt up onto the hood of the car, yelling like a crazy Arabian as he took out his Luger and fired randomly in front of him.
"MAX SINCE WHEN WERE YOU ARABIAN, BAHAHAHA!" (Y/N) cackled, yelling to outmatch Max's shrieking.
"SINCE... YEEESS."
"THAT DOESN'T ANSWER MY—"
"Max, move outta the way, or get off the hood, before I crash the car and send you flying!"
Sam 'shouted', which got Max to fall back, into his seat. "Sorry Sam, it was fun though!"
The girl looked on, kinda scared. "U-uhm, guys?.. Dead end!"
Sam craned his neck to look at her. "Huh? What do ya mean, 'Dead end'—"
Then the car fell, into some random ravine in the middle of the road that nobody remembered being there. Max wasn't a fearless, arrogant fuzz-face now, he seemed scared, clinging onto Sam for safety.
The demon girl huffed, her boyfriend clinging to her in a backpack position. She magically sprouted purply and black wings, and some horns, she dove down, snagging (Y/N) by her sweatshirt's hood, and Sam by his arm, Max just stayed clinging to Sam. The girl fell like a feather with her wings, all the way until she reached the bottom of the pit, ravine, whatever.
Max stopped trembling to force his eyes open and look around. "Heyyy.. This looks like hell but not some sort of office."
"Oh my god, that scared the obsolete shit out of me. Thanks for saving us.. u h m..?"
"Mhm, Girlfriend, but please, call me Girl or Cherry!~"
"Yeah! And I'm Boyfriend, call me Boy or Keith, or Evan or—"
"Okay you can shut up now. Where are we, Sam?"
