"We don't need your help!" I exclaim in frustration. Can't you understand? I don't want to cage you with me! I want you to be free! I want you to be gone! That's what I want for both of us

His hand crawls to mine "is it about my college? do you want me to visit you more? I-I'll try harder I swear-"
"No, it's not that!" my voice broke
