Love Like You (Akari)

Akari had just finished yet another fight with Asukai.
Unlike other days, this one was about his late lover. So as Akari gazed outside, she saw that the rain and sea did a number on Fontaine.
Akari frowned and just decided to sleep it off.

The next day, Akari was wondering around her part of her home when she caught a glimpse of Asukai walking past on his part of the home.
As much as she wanted to go up to Asukai and apologize to him, her pride wouldn't let her... Not by a long shot. So she just continued on her way.

"If I could begin to be half of what you think of me, I could do about anything I could even learn how to love..." She trailed off and shook her head as she headed to her room.

"When I see the way you act wondering when I'm coming back, I could do about anything I could even learn how to love like you..." She trailed off again.
"Love like you..."

Akari then gritted her teeth as she clenched her clothes tightly in her palm in anger and sadness.
"I always thought I might be bad, now I'm sure that it's true. Cause I think you're so good and I'm nothing like you." She said before looking out her balcony window to watch as Asukai interacted with his people.

"Look at you go!
I just adore you,
I wish that I knew, what makes you think I'm so special." Akari said and looked down and slid down to the floor.

"If I could begin to do something that does right by you, I would do about anything... I could even learn how to love...
When I see the way you look shaken by how long it took, I could do about anything.. I could even learn now to love like you..."
Akari frowned and rested her head against the window.
"Love like you..."
"Love me like you..."
