Once In A Dream (Jiao)

(This is not actually based on a roleplay... Actually it's a story I'm working on. :3)

Jiao sighed as she made her way on the roof of a building. She refused to stay another minute around her parents that always wanted to bring her down. She then sat on the edge and watched the sun go down.

"Once in a dream I thought I could be anyone I wanted." She said as she watched a small lizard like dragon scurry on the ground. "Hard to believe but it felt real to me... Until the morning." Jiao said sadly before turning and standing up on the ledge to walk on it with balance.

"When I'm awake I still can't shake the taste of freedom." She said and stopped before glaring at nothing.
"I can't stop... I can't break. I carry the weight for you! It's the lonliest!" She yelled.

"Road... Road I know. I know. I know. It's the loneliest! Road. Road I know. I know. I know..." She trailed off before making her way downstairs to the first floor before she walked aimlessly down the street.

"Once in a dream I thought I could keep you safe forever." She said and thought about her missing lover. "You held onto me a beautiful scene I still remember." She said sadly. "When I'm awake. I hide all our chains. So you're not afraid." She said before looking determined.

"I can't stop. I can't break. I carry the weight for you. It's the loneliest! Road. Road. I know. I know. I know. It's the loneliest! Road. Road. I know. I know. I know." She said before continuing on.

"I can't stop. I can't break. I carry the weight for you! It's the lonliest! Road... Road I know. I know. I know. It's the lonliest! Road. Road I know. I know. I know..." She said with a sigh before heading back home.
