Everybody Wants To Rule The World (Hari and Emiko)

Emiko stood in front of Hari's desk as Hari worked on some papers. Hari then sighed. "What?!" She asked as her fins flicked in annoyance. Emiko tilted her head with her eyebrows furrowed. "Why did you disappear from everyone? Mom said you wanted to run away... But then you just went missing and now you're in the hero agency?" She asked.

Hari sighed and ran her hand through her brown hair and stood up before walking to the window. "There's a lot of things I never wanted to be involved with. Mother and Father had the skills to hunt me down... But I made sure to never leave any traces." She said.

"But... Why?" Emiko had.

Hari sighed.
"Welcome to your life... There's no turning back... Even while we sleep... They will find you Acting on your best behavior..." She trailed off and looked at Emiko. "Turn your back on mother nature, everybody wants to rule the world." Hari said before looking back at the window.

Emiko was confused. "That's not possible... Nobody can possibly do that." She said. Hari chuckled. "Then please... Tell me why the League is so fixated on making Nomus and attacking the city. Also please tell me why Overhaul is now surfacing?" She asked. Emiko didn't speak. Hari was right.

"It's her own design... It's my own remorse... Help me too decide... Help me make the most of freedom. And of pleasure. Nothing ever lasts forever!" Hari said as she gestured to the peaceful city. Emiko frowned.

"Everybody wants to rule the world...." Hari trailed off before turning to Emiko and holding her shoulders. "There's a room where the light won't find you. Holding hands while the walls come tumbling down." She said before pulling away.  "When they do I'll be right behind you, so glad that we might make it, so sad we'll have to fade it.(idk)" She said before looking at Emiko with a small smile.

"Everybody wants to rule the world." She said as she made images of villains and pro heroes who were only heroes for the fame and money. "Everybody wants to rule the world. Everybody wants to rule..." Hari trailed off as her images disappeared. "The world." She mumbled before looking at Emiko.

"I'm behind you all the way. Call me if you need me, Emiko." Hari said as she gave her her number. Emiko smiled and took it. "Thank you... Aunt Hari." She said and Hari nodded.
