Gilbert hadn't expected much fun to come from having his new brother in law over, since he was seven. But Peter surprised him. He was surprisingly polite for how he acted in public places, and kept mostly quiet other than asking questions about things. He seemed to ask Matthew a lot of questions though, mostly about the baby. At one point he got a little stressed and Gilbert could tell, so he took Peter to the other room to see his bird while Matthew cooled down.

When it came to dinner they were at a little bit of a cross since none of them wanted the same thing, so they decided to play Rock Paper Scissors for it, Peter being the winner and getting mac'n'cheese for dinner. Gilbert was a little glad though, since it was very easy to make just out of the box. And Peter enjoyed it so that was good. Matthew ate as much as he could but ended up getting sick halfway through. Gilbert watched as he excused himself and jogged off to their bathroom. This struck up new questions from Peter.

"Is Matthew ok?" Peter asked as he stabbed a macaroni with his fork.
Gilbert nodded as he let out a deep breath. "Yeah, Matt's fine. He's just got a bit of an upset stomach is all. He's gonna be back to normal in a bit."
Peter nodded with a smile, although the flat was a bit quiet, so everyone could hear it when Matthew started retching rather loudly. Gilbert turned on the TV for Peter to pay more attention to instead. Luckily, Peter was immediately absorbed in the shows while he ate. Matthew came back a few minutes later, and of course Peter started to ask him questions again about what was wrong.

Matthew set Peter's plate on the coffee table and then pulled his brother into a hug. "Ok after this, no more questions!" Matthew told him with a smile and Peter laughed a bit. "I'm ok. I'm not sick. Mom's told you how babies are made?" Peter nodded and cringed a bit. "Ok, I'll take it you didn't like that talk. Well, when someone has a baby, it makes them feel really sick. It doesn't last forever just for a little bit. And that's why I'm not feeling too well. I'll be better real soon ok?" Peter nodded and Matthew told him to go wash up since he had made a bit of a mess on his face eating, and Peter ran off.

Gilbert looked at Matthew and leaned over the couch, giving him a quick kiss although cringing a bit from the taste of stomach acid on his boyfriend's lips. Matthew apologised, but Gilbert told him it was ok. Matthew rubbed his belly a few times before there was a knock on the door. He looked back at Gilbert and then was starting to get up when Gilbert said he would get the door. Matthew was sort of glad, his ankles hurt a bit..

The door opened and Matthew saw two people he hadn't expected to see. Feliciano quickly gave Gilbert a kiss as he always did, and then walked in, waving to Matthew. "Hello, Matteo!" He announced, walked over and sat by his new friend for a hug. Matthew took the hug with a smile and watched as Lovino and Gilbert bickered with each other at the door.
"Gilbert, can you close the door, you're letting the cold air out.." Matthew asked with a nervous smile. Gilbert nodded and shut the door, nudging Lovino further in. Matthew smiled and brushed his hair behind his ear. "So what brings you two down here?"
"Oh nothing much!" Feliciano said with a chuckle. "Just closed up and thought we'd come and visit! Did we drop in at a bad time?"
"Oh no, I appreciate you checking on us! We're just babysitting my little brother tonight." Feliciano lit up and looked around, his eyes landing on Peter. He stood up and walked over, opening his satchel and taking out a little blue box, handing it to Peter. "Hi there! I'm Feliciano, I run the bakery down the street, so nice to meet you!"
Peter looked mildly confused until he registered the word bakery. He looked at Matthew who had a smile on his face, so he replicated. "Thank you. I'm Peter."

While Feliciano got to know Peter a little better over one of his baked treats, Gilbert looked at Lovino. Lovino told them he had been dragged out of the house by his brother after having to cancel plans for the night, and was a bit tired and irritated. He hadn't wanted to come but there was never any saying no to his brother when he had his heart set on something. It reminded Matthew a lot of Alfred. The way they acted was pretty similar. Though, Alfred would have a temper tantrum if Matthew said no and then Matthew would get so annoyed he would give in.

Matthew had once again spaced out. He had one hand on his bump and the other on his lap, his gaze set on a tree branch outside the window. He had plenty of things on his mind, and he wasn't sure how he should feel about them. His family, his job, just so many things. He didn't really remember they had guests over, couldn't remember what time it was. He was only brought back to attention after Gilbert told him he looked pale. Matthew smiled softly and shook his head.
"I'm fine, just thinking too much.. It's getting late though, I'm sorry to cut our visit short but we all had a long day and I bet Peter's a lot more tired than I am." They all said their goodbyes after Gilbert agreed, and this time on their way out, instead of just Gilbert, Matthew got a kiss too. He was still a bit weirded out by that, but Gilbert told him it was something they had done for years and was really no big deal.
Matthew and Gilbert made Peter a comfy spot on the couch, and he was asleep almost immediately. So the two adults went to their room to finally get some alone time. Matthew took his clothes off and then put on a hoodie. Gilbert stripped and hopped onto the bed, getting under the covers and smiling.

"Mattie, did you have a fun day?" Gilbert asked, and Matthew chuckled as he got into bed.
"Yes, I did, and I have to say, I'm ready for bed." Matthew said, giving Gilbert a small kiss. Then another kiss, and it broke into making out rather quickly. Gilbert stayed over Matthew, rubbing the other's hips and still hungrily kissing him. "I am so wet.." Matthew panted out, taking off his glasses and setting them to the side.

After a quick pleasure for both of them, Matthew was a little embarrassed. He was starting to wonder if Peter had heard any of that. Gilbert assured him that Peter had been dead asleep when they left the living room, but Matthew was still a bit paranoid. If his brother heard that it would be the death of him for sure. Gilbert told Matthew to get some sleep and he would forget about it by morning. Matthew was very tired so he took that advice and got comfy. He was able to fall asleep pretty easily after that.

Matthew was up pretty early that morning. He had to throw up so he decided to make breakfast for everyone, since he wasn't sure if Alice would be coming to get Peter or if they had to take him home. Peter woke up while Matthew was cooking, and made his way into the kitchen curiously.
Matthew looked over at his brother and smiled. "Hey Peter! How'd you sleep?"
Peter rubbed his eyes and nodded. "Really good." He muttered out, obviously still a bit tired. Or a lot tired. Matthew got Peter some juice since Gilbert originally had it in there for an alcoholic drink but since Matthew was pregnant he had dropped the idea, and it turns out it really satisfied a craving. Peter happily drank the juice as he waited for his breakfast, which was just some hash browns and scrambled eggs. Also a slice of toast, you have to have all of the food groups or at least most of them.

Peter was very happy to have his food, so Matthew went and woke up Gilbert. Matthew was met with a kiss and watched as Gilbert was kind of working his way around the room to find his clothes. "Didn't know you were awake." Matthew said blankly, watching what Gilbert was doing. "Is everything ok? We don't have work today, we took time off to rest today." 

Gilbert sighed and nodded. "I know we did, I know. But someone came in this morning and they're refusing to let anyone do their tattoo unless it's me and I can't lose that sort of business." He gave Matthew another kiss. "And we're gonna need the money, with Christian and all.." Matthew sighed and crossed his arms. He hated this but Gilbert really had a point. So he let Gilbert go and said his goodbyes. Peter asked and Matthew just told him Gilbert would be gone for a bit.

Peter mostly occupied himself with the TV. He didn't realise the few times Matthew went off and got sick, but didn't question Matthew when he came back either. Matthew was very glad of that and he got a few chores done in the meantime. Doing the dishes and a little vacuuming. It was a productive day for him! It felt really really good to get these things done because usually Gilbert would do them.
Matthew was pretty tired by the time Alice came and got Peter though. He told his mother that Peter had been really good but his questions were a little tiring, especially about the baby. Alice just laughed and nodded, giving Matthew a kiss on the forehead before leaving.

Matthew took a nice nap while he waited for Gilbert to come back. When Gilbert did get back though, he cuddled up to Matthew and smiled. This was really nice. He slept with this guy every night, and that was also awesome, but cuddling with Matthew any other time of the day just felt so much better for some reason and he didn't know why.

The rest of their day was lazy. Nobody came over this time, and they ordered a pizza and watched movies. Matthew was feeling really good and was very glad to have his boy driven by his side right now..
