"Mom?" I questioned. She looked like she was in a different world for a moment.
"Yes sweet heart?" She snapped back into focus and began to rinse the co do too we out of my hair.
"What does he have against you?" I whispered. She was caught off guard and her hands stopped in my hair.
"Your father doesn't know. He threatened to stop your fathers treatment." She whispered in return. Her heart broke with every word.
"What does he want you to do?"
"Finish the job you failed to do." Her voice cracked and she let out a sob as she rinsed the rest of the conditioner out of my hair.
"Don't do it mom." I looked up at her. Her face was red. Her hands were shaking. She pulled something from her skirt. "Mom. Don't." I reached to grab her wrist. She pulled a button from her skirt.
I yelled for Sherlock to run and take everyone with him. She pushed the button. Nothing happened.
"What? No no no. That was supposed to work!" She yelled in frustration. I grabbed a towel and stood from the tub as Sherlock burst through the door.
"This?" He held up what I assumed to be the bomb that was supposed to go off.
"Yes that!" She hit the button a few more time before giving up and throwing it to the floor.
John rushed into the room and held my mothers arms behind her back. I stood confused and angry. I didn't know what to do. John removed her from the room and Sherlock brought some clothes for me to put on.
A pair of jeans and a black tank top. I thanked him and changed. Ignoring the pain in my side I walked out of the bathroom and slowly made my way to the living room. A new determination in me.
"You didn't really pass out did you? The second time you saw the blood you did nothing but pretend to look away. That was your give away." Sherlock was doing his thing and I leaned against the door way slightly impressed.
"You buried this into the couch when you pretended to stir awake. Clever but stupid. I was watching. Though not maybe people would have picked up on it I did. Your attempt to kill me had failed and Scotland heard will be here within the next ten minutes."
Sherlock walked over to me and put a hand on my side. I looked to over to make sure I was okay because technically I shouldn't even be walking. I shook my head and he pulled me into a hug. I was beyond livid and angry.
How could she do something like this? To me or my father who looked as if his whole world had broken before him. I felt sad for him in this moment. I wrapped my arms under Sherlock's as he pulled me tighter against him.
So much has happened in the week since I was released from that cellar. I didn't understand why Sherlock trusted me. I shouldn't be trusted. I ended the hug and walked to the bedroom where my violin lied on the bed waiting. I grabbed a bag and put in some clothes. Slipped into my black tennis shoes and strapped the violin to my back.
I walked back out into the living room and took my leave down the stairs. "Where are you going?" Sherlock's voice stopped me.
"To end this." I said and continued walking. He didn't come after me. I didn't want him to because if he did I would have to stop him from stoping what I was going to do to Jim.
I went to the place where I met him. I climbed the ladder to the attic and waited. I strummed a key on my violin and began to play the piece in which Jim and I had created together.
Soon another violin joined me in playing. I looked over to see Jim walking my way. I stopped and held the brown towards his neck.
"Hi Jim."
"Hello (Y/N)."
"I want this to end Jim."
"And it will once I get what I want."
"Sherlock dead at your feet."
"Precisely."
His cold voice sealed my determination to end this. He wanted nothing but death and misery to ensue. He wanted chaos and despair.
"How?"
"This." He held up a vial like he knew I was going to come to him. "It's a fast acting poison. It will kill him in minutes."
I sucked in a deep breath and went to take it from him. He moved it out of my grasp.
"How do I know you will do it?"
"Promise my mothers freedom and give them back." I held confidence in my words.
He chuckled. "Done and done. Scar will bring them to you tonight. Sherlock's place. Your mother will be out by the end of the week. You better not fail me again. Or I will end you."
His words sent shivers down my spine as I took the vial from him. I knew what I had to do but I had no idea how I was going to do it.
I climbed down the latter and walked out the front door. This wasn't going to be easy but I had an idea. He called to me from the front door.
"I'll know if you don't."
I kept walking until I couldn't see the house anymore. I took a slow pace brining my hand to my side where the wound had started to burn again. I was going to loose consciousness soon if I didn't sit down. I looked at my watch. 3:47 am. I quickened my pace slightly.
I made it back to the town home and was about to knock before I collapsed in front of the door. The pain becoming to much for me. I felt my legs and body give out and everything went black. I heard yelling from Sherlock and dozed in and out.
When I woke up I was on the couch yet again. I sat up and walked into the kitchen where I found Sherlock working. I walked over to him and put my hands on his face brining his lips to mine.
"I need you to listen." I whispered into his ear as I climbed onto his lap. This needed to look real. "I have to kill you. I'm not going to. I have poison in my bag. You need to do something with it-" I gasped as his lips attacked my neck softly.
"Sh-Sherlock." I gasped again as he lightly hit my collar bone.
"I'm listening." He whispered into my ear before nibbling on it.
"You need to pretend to be dead. Make it seem real. This needs to work." His hands traveled up my back and undid my bra. He was getting cheeky.
"It will work." He pulled away and looked into my eyes before attaching his lips to mine again.
