I walked around touching things from his childhood and memorizing everything I saw. I couldn't help but keep in the back of my mind that I had hurt him.

I found a drawing he had made. It was dated for when he was around eight years old. It was of his, what I am assuming to be, a memory of his sister.

I traced my fingers over the line work. That shading turning my fingers a grey color. It was detailed and shadowed. It was beautiful and intricately designed and special. I felt an arm on my own.

I turned to find Sherlock behind me. "Mycroft has some news." He said. He looked worried but also relived all at once.

He grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. He led me out of the room and down a short hallway to the living area. His father was stoking the fire. His mother was reading a book on mathematics. John and Mary were sitting on the couch together. Everything seemed so peaceful. Sherlock took a seat in a love seat in the room pulling me down next to him.

I laid my head against his chest letting my fingers trace over his own. He rubbed my back with his other hand and hummed softly into my ear. I let my eyes drift shut for a moment and took a deep breathe. Everything was in a clear focus around me. Mycroft walked into the room holding a file in one hand and a computer in the other.

"Good evening. I have some information that you may want to take a look at." Mycroft handed me the file and I sat up. Sherlock's hand still planted firmly on my back.

"What is it?" I was a little frightened to be honest. I didn't trust anything anymore. Not even the government.

"Just open it. We did blood tests." I tore the file open and pulled out two pieces of paper.

'Julia Moriarty'
Sex- Female
Age- Seven
Blood type- O

Relation- Negative

'James Moriarty'
Sex- Male
Age- Seven
Blood type- A positive

Relation- Negative.

"They were them." I sighed and looked up at Mycroft. He had a little smile playing at his lips. I jumped up and put my arms around his neck hugging him tightly. He fled his arms wrap around me as well in a very uncomfortable hug.

"What's going on?" John asked walking over.

"They were not kids. Mycroft did a blood test. They weren't mine." I let out a sob of happiness but that meant he still had them and who ever those kids belonged to had just lost their children.

I let the reality of the situation sink in. This wasn't good. Jim still had the twins. Sherlock wasn't dead. Which meant I was Jim's next target. He was going to come after me next because I defied him.

"I'm his next target. If he hasn't come after Sherlock yet that means he is changing his plans. He going to come after me next." I let the words sink in around the room. "He won't kill me. He can't. At least I don't think so."

"John we need a plan here. Mary you and your child get out of here with Mycroft. He will take you somewhere safe." Mary nodded and kissed John. "You too (Y/N)."

"What? No way. No way in hell am I leaving. Those are my kids out there. He's after me!"

"That's exactly why you need to leave." John chimed in.his demeanor changed from its usual goofy self to this stoic confident one.

"He's right (Y/N). That's exactly why you need to leave." Sherlock rested a hand on my cheek and gave me a little kiss.

"Fine. I'll leave but only on one condition." John chuckled.

"You two really are a match." He slapped a hand on each of our backs. I grabbed his wrist and twisted. Sherlock just shot him a glare. "Okay okay. No touching I get it."

I let his wrist go and looked back to Sherlock. "You keep me or Mycroft informed of your every move."

"Fine. Myc get her out of here." Sherlock waved his brother down. Her placed a hand on my shoulder and walked me out of the house.

Worry enveloped my whole being. Mary and I sat next to each other in tha car. She grabbed my hand and squeezed. "A baby?" I asked her grinning from ear to ear.

"Yes." She chuckled. "A change of topic is needed. Yes. John and I are having a baby. We found out at the wedding not long ago."

I squeezed her hand a little. "Congratulations Mary. I'm happy for you two." The car began to move. Mycroft in the drivers seat.

"We are headed to a government safe house not far from here." He turned onto the main road.

BAM

I was thrown against the side of the car. I had yet to put my seat belt on and was in the process when we were hit. Mary remained in her seat. The seat belt protecting her.

I heard glass shatter and my surroundings changed. I saw trees above me. My back hit something solid and I felt a searing pain go through my shoulder and arm on the left side.

I groaned and tried to move but couldn't. I was being held in place but I didn't know by what. I tried to turn my head and more pain Met me. I screamed in agony.

"AUGH!" My world was silent. Only a horrible high pitched ringing in my ears. The corners of my vision started going black. My space went in and out of focus before me. I saw a blurry Mycroft kick open the driver door and pull Mary out. He carried her up to the side of the road and came back to try and find me.

Gun shots rang out around me. A woman came into a view and put a hand on my cheek. Her features were sharp. Her lips red. Her eyes seductive. Mycroft came over and they began to pull me from whatever I was stuck on.

I yelled out in pain. They laid me on the forest floor and I looked to where I was hanging. I had been handing from a huge oak tree. The bark was dark with blood. I saw them talking but still couldn't quite hear. It all sounded like whispered coming from far away.

I remember the woman pulling a gun from her pocket. She clicked the safety on then brought the butt of it down on the side of my head. I was knocked out almost immediately.
