"Hey Mia, can I talk to you for a second?" Stella suddenly asks.
Everyone on the couch stares at them.Mia feels small with everyone's eyes on them, especially Jake's.
"Uhm yeah. Sure I guess." She awkwardly replies as she gets up. Stella follows suit.
Jake's house is huge but tonight it looks and feels small. With litters of drinks and teenagers everywhere.
Mia leads them to the patio.
"So what do you want to talk about?"
Stella does not say anything but instead looks at the moon.Feeling awkward and out of place, Mia breaks the silence.
" Uhm if you aren't going to say anything, can I leave?"
Silence again. Stella continues admiring the moon.Mia makes her way towards the door w
hen suddenly-
"Not so fast."
-Stella blocks her way.Taken aback Mia stumbles back.
"I know that"-Stella drags -"You're the mysterious girl." She finishes off.
Her eyes rake over Mia's surprised features.
"Aren't you curious as to how I found you?"Mia's eyes land on Stella's clenched fist. Stella follows Mia's gaze and unclenches her hand. She flexes her fingers and examines them.
"Well I guess you aren't interested. By the way, don't you just like this nail colour?"
Mia does not say anything. She feels captive like someone is forcibly keeping her here yet no one is.
Mia eye's roam Stella. She looks ordinary except for the glint in her eye and the aura surrounding her.
"This moon remind me of the blood moon." Stella says as she approaches Mia, who in turn take a step back.
"Relax Mia, I won't hurt you. It's not like I am a monster for goodness's sake."
"I wouldn't be sure." Mia mutters.
"True." Stella shrugs and nods.
"I don't know much about you but I can tell you catch on fast. So I know you will understand and do what I ask you to."Mia looks at Stella on confusion, as if inquiring "Do what?"
"I want you to Leave Jake alone." Stella emphasizes.
Recognition dawns over Mia's face and she breaks into hysterics.
"Oh my goodness, so that's it."
"You think that I am after Jake?",Mia says in between giggles. She wipes a tear, looks at Stella and takes a step forward.
Straightforwardly she states: " I cannot believe I wasted time coming here." and rolls her eyes.
"You are right though, you don't know me. At all. While I am aware of your fixation on Jake, of which I could really care less about, just don't make the mistake of thinking that you scare me."
"There is nothing more that I hate than girls who think that they should always be the main characters." Mia audibly mutters.
Mia pushes past Stella and bumps her shoulder.
At the door, Mia turns around and retorts "You should try painting your nails black. To go along with the whole witch persona you've got going there. And if you must know, I just might like Jake." She smirks.
"But as for you, you should give it a rest ex-gilfriend"- she puts an emphasis on the words ex-gilfriend- "and while you are at it, HEAL."
She finishes off with a wink and heads in the house.
