And so you're in the midst of it
And all these thoughts rush in
"This is not how life is supposed to be"
You are convinced
You're about to conclude it and Really convince yourself
But a small thought quickly skims your mind.
And it questions you.
"But how would I know?"You're quick to dismiss it
After all you don't want it to linger and root itself
Except that's not how it works thoughSparks starts flying and a lot of these "words and questions" start igniting You start doubting yourself
Relax and think about it
As much as you're in control of yourself you really aren'tYou think back to everything that happened during the past few days, weeks, months and then years
You finally, are ready to deduce a new conclusionMaybe just maybe this is what life is supposed to be
Perhaps not the origin, but this current
This is how it's supposed to be
Pain, happiness, experiments and allSo they have called you the mad scientist
And it has always been up to you, whether to be mad or insanely mad
And so today, you've decided to be saneAnd feeling sane, you decide
I won't end humanity
I'll leave it be
And look forward to the kind of experiments this human race brings
